At least I had general anime knowledge so I could piece together what was happening but my mom was so confused. Ive seen the anime so many times, and the English dub just...makes my ears bleed. Nothing against the English VAs but like... they dont hit the tones and emotions right. After watching jt in Japanese, I cant watch it in English. (Tried Portuguese though, not terrible) 🤣

It’s absolutely subjective to which version we are each more familiar with. I have a very specific problem with the Japanese language versions of heavily action based anime like this one. It’s the pitch of the yelling and screaming. To my ears the Japanese voices raised in anger or exertion are just hilarious. It completely breaks my immersion. I have tried, please believe me. I’m invested into the characters and their struggle but then the Bee Gees get in a fight with Fran Drescher.

Kinda makes sense. A hashira like Rengoku would probably be able to manage without too much difficulty with a demon's body. In fact, a Hashira who has been turned by Tamayo would be an utter force to be reckoned with since they'd have all the perks of being a demon, without the drawback of being tied to Muzan and needing to devour human flesh.

Either you really like the pacing or you think it sucks, either you really like Tanjiro or you think he's super boring, you like the dub or hate it (tbf thats an argument most series deal with), either Zenitsu is funny to you, or you despise him. I mean not a single person i've talked to shares the same opinion of the series. Personally I love the pacing, Tanjiro and most other characters, im not a big fan of Zenitsu, but i admire how much both the original VA and the English VA put into him energy-wise, and i dont think the series has many annoying characters.
