amazing, and so much better to watch than a certain commercial custom/restoration drama program i could mention. I just wish that this had been longer!

Why didn’t you use something like West’s epoxy for the wheel instead of wood glue?

Ya'll did a lot of work on that car for sure, You can say it brand new again, better than the day it was made. I like the thick wood steering wheel very cool. The Mustang wood steering wheels where to thin like a woman steering wheels! I still don't like wide white wall tires or white walls period ! But i must say it made it pop, I'am a White Letter Tire Man, I don't under stand why would any one put some POS Cherry Bomb Mufflers on any thing for unless it not American Made ? Put some steel pack Smithy's On It ! Smithy's made a glass pack and the steel packs, The Steel packs are the best for sound and performance and don't blow out.. There even better than Flowmaster Here the link for SMITHY's Mufflers! pertronix.com/prod/ex/smithy/default.aspx There very hard to fine, but a awesome muffler best ever! My dad had a set on his 52 ford F100, flat head V8 when i was a little Gear Head, and i love them ever since. Every time i sell a vehicle i pull them off i have one new set and i just put a old set on my Silverado P/U, So this old pairs has been on 4 cars so far, and still like new! They still sound throaty and rumble like hell Get Some Of That ! He Heee

The plaid is horrendous!

The most important step you didn't explain is how did you get the burl pattern? You said it was a printing process, but I see you holding a small brush. You created the pattern by tweeking and brushing the coat of paint you just sprayed? Anyone can spray paint, but if the burl pattern was done by hand, that's requires experienced artistic talent. For most of us it would likely look lousy.
@HonestHisself10 жыл бұрын
The burl pattern is applied using specialized gel-like rollers exactly the way Ford did it back in the day. The brush work is used to blend two different rolled passes.you're correct in that not just anyone will have these roller sets, but the process itself isn't impossibly complicated.
@nicholascremato48619 жыл бұрын
there is now a water technique that floats the pattern in water and then you raise the panel up through the water to adhere the pattern. it works on anything and as long as you can remove the part it works like magic.

Plaid????? Ewwwwwwwww!!!!! The red glass packs are too much red for the car. They should have been stainless.
