The 8th season was supposed to be a ton better place was even supposed to become cannon and lotor was gonna get a redemption arc. Lance was going to still do the date thing with Aloura but realize he didn't love her as much as he thought. But DreamWorks said no, and had them remake it into a crappyer season. There was a petition to DreamWorks about letting the original voltron 8th season to go up...but it failed ;-;

Now for next adaptation, live action - universal have rights but i didn't see it coming as power rangers failed. So animation version not coming soon too. Very sad.

reaching 1000k subs without uploading anything it’s a good show if you like action and space I guess. It’s not that long of a show but each episode is 21-22 min long. It’s story is really good and develops smoothly be nice in my opinion. But be aware for a certain ship (not this one) people might harass you if you don’t like the ship.
