in portuguese we have honesto and sincero too. honesto we use to talk about someone with integrity, who is trustworthy, truthful, basically linked to that person's values. if we say he's sincere, it means he tells the truth, he doesn't lie, but it doesnt have to be linked to his values because he may no be honest, but in that moment he was sincere and said the truth. we also have the word "frontal", which is someone who always speaks his mind and can sometimes be brutally honest in what he says
