A honest video. Starting over. 30 lbs heavier. Admitting it and moving on. Not happy, very disappointed in my self. Especially 30 lbs in 2 1/2 mths!! :( I NEED to get back on track.

After watching the first video I came across, which was your montage that I commented on, I came to your channel to see how you were currently doing with your journey. I'm sorry you are struggling! You've come so far! A 30 lb weight gain is okay, you've made some mistakes along the way. But what is most important is you are in the mind set where you know you got off track and you want to do better. Forget the mistakes, move on, and push forward! you've proven to yourself that you CAN do this!

I am not glad that you have gained weight back but I am VERY glad that you are back on youtube. You are a real person and that means ups and downs and that makes you even more of an inspiration to come back!!! I think I am going to start making videos again. Thank you.

Your weight montage has always been a huge motivation for me. I actually searched you out to ask what the dance program was that you had been using was. I'm only 25 and I know what you mean about 30. 30lbs isn't an easy thing to lose but look how much you have done! And this time you caught it! Post an update let us know how you are doing 2 weeks later! You have lots of support here.

I remember in one of your videos you gave the advice to only do what you can keep doing for the rest of your life. I think that is awesome advice. Be encouraged. You can do it. take it slow and make small changes that you can keep doing. God bless you!

when you think about how much you have already lost, 30lbs is not that much at all! you did it once and you can do it again. you are such an inspiration and i have watched all your videos since i jioned weight watchers this past january. everyone has ups and downs, just take it for what it is and move on. you got this!!

First of all, you are so brave to post your honesty on KZbin. I can totally relate to you. In 2009 I lost over 115 lbs with Metabolic Research Center. I went from 387.5 to 268. Then January 2010, I found out I was expecting our second child...he was not planned. And honestly I was depressed for the first 3 weeks of my pregnancy. After having him, I gained a lot of it back and developed post partum depression. I have done little to fix it as well. I'm ashamed of myself. Stay strong

You took the right step: being honest with yourself. You are not a failure. There are tons of people who are in your shoes. I wasone of them not too long ago (and I wasn't even on my goal weight). But I got sick of looking at the scale going up and I decided to do something. So, clean your mind of bad thoughts and negativity and think positive. SOmetimes, we fall off the wagon for deep reasons we may not known. Just keep focused and start over with small steps. You can do this!! :)

Oh April, I wish I could reach thru and give you a big hug....come on girly, back to basics...make it your goal to start right now and try to take off a pound or two every few days...having a great hubby is such a wonderful support. You can do it, you have done it before and will get there again. I would love to hear what kinda of veg. meals you are having and that the family will eat. good luck and keep us posted... They always say that maintaining is the hardest thing to do. I gained a bunch since Christmas and I'm not happy about it. The bad thing is that I haven't really taken the initiative to kick my but and get things going. I need to start posting videos again. They really help keep me motivated. Best wishes to you. I turned 30 last year and it sucks. But then you are 30 and realize that things continue on. Don't get too down on yourself just work towards getting back to goal.

Hey some days and weeks are hard. You just have to take each day as it comes. Surround yourself with positive people. If each day is too hard bring it down to hour by hour! You can do it. Your an inspiration.

Oh Honey its going to be ok! I gained too. I am back at weight watcher meetings. I am going to start making vids again starting now. I feel you. Keep on going and I hope you are still going to weight watcher meetings cause this definitely made a difference in my weight loss. And you are still as beautiful now as you were 30 lbs ago :)

I think when you are honest with yourself it's easier for you to move on. You can get back into! We all do it.. it's tough but its better to catch yourself now then to gain it all back.

I am right there with you, April. I have gained around 30lbs over the past six months. About 20 the past 2 months alone. Dont take this the wrong way, you need to conquer one thing at a time. Being a veg may not be the best idea for you right now. Understand why you/we emotionally eat, first, then worry about the animals. How about we both re-start today?

Hey, I understand how you feel about turning 30 when I turned 30 I felt like the world was coming to an end and it can be very depressing, and that's not an excuse it's a fact. This being said trust me when I say it can be so much harder to take it off after you turn 30. So start getting your booty back on track I know and I am sure everyone else who follows you know you can do this you did it once you can do it again, I have faith in you.

The good thing is it will be a lot easier to get under 200lbs when ur ONLY 210 than if you were over 300lbs again, so good for you! When we lose weight most of us gain at least some back, its no big deal, you just have to get back on track one more time thats all. Stop it everytime before it gets out of control and you will be fine.

Watching this video has made me sub you...Please, Please,Please don't feel bad.. In 2009 I lost 50 pounds and last year I gained 20lbs back.. Weight loss is not a easy thing especially when you have kids and a busy life style. But know this... you lost it before and you will lose it again... You already took the first step which was being honest with yourself... Thanks for opening up because I know how hard it is to do that......God Bless....

You are not a failure. You have lost it before and you can do it again. You just have to figure out the source of the problem. Get as active as possible and drink your water and keep doing the great job that did. Don't be depressed about turning 30 ... Life is what you make it.... Make it fabulous.

sure do wish I coulda carried my 210 weight like this. You look fab. Just get back up again and stop emotionally eating. I know, easier said than done, but you have to start somewhere and at least you're starting again at 210 and not over 300 pounds. Bravo miss Marissa ^_^

Make SMART goals (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely). Being a vegetarian is great but be careful irish dairy. Some vegetarians eat primarily carbs and diary to substitute the protein. Eat lentils, quinoa, beans, nuts, egg whites, whey protein. Think long term. Yes you are turning thirty but start living in the now. I'm there with you. I had lose 80 lbs and have gained 30 lbs in the past year. I for the last three weeks I have been eating healthy, exercising and have lost 6

@sanleefree Vegetarians gain weight because they replace meat dishes with pasta and bread and cheeses. I was vegetarian for over a year and it was so hard not gaining!

Hang in there! Btw the vegitarian thing is good for weight loss becuase you cut out carbs and fat. Also there are plenty of good tasty recipees.

I think you should first pat yourself on the back for catching yourself at the point where you are now and not letting yourself get out of control and get even heavier. Maybe what you're going through is equivalent to like a man's "mid-life crisis" or something. (not that you're middle aged or anything) I just look at turning 30 as a big life milestone for women and its understandable that you might be a little depressed. Good luck to you. I hope you get yourself back on track.

I hope you can get back on track with this weight loss. You are one of the 1st you tubers that I started swatching and You helped me stay on track. I know it hard all the time. I didn't do good this last month but I'm back on track and I'm at my lowest. Just to let you know turning 30 with be ok just think it's not 40. Also check my video out if you like. HTH

Please listen to me. I was in the same boat. Please try to remove emotions from the situation. It's 30 lbs. It could be a LOT worse. Just do something about it and quit beating yourself up about it, otherwise you are going to gain a lot more. Speaking from experience. I just turned 40, so I know how you feel.

I think your goal shouldn't be to be healthy at your birthday, or Christmas...your goal should be to live a healthy lifestyle today. Not tomorrow, not on a later date. Be healthy today. Be healthy a day at a time. All you have is now.

And remember, fat cells only "shrink" up. Eating bad things only feed those cells! You can do it!
