Honey Badgers are too slow to just flee from most of their predators. So their defense is reduced to fight. They will fight until they sense the predator(s) are giving up, and only then will they turn tail to flee. As you mentioned, predators know they cannot even risk a small infection, especially if the reward is small. But if the Predator(s) are hungry and other food is scarce - it's the end for the honey badger. 7:22 This is a case where other food was not scarce. The mother wolverine had her offspring with her (wolverines are solitary animals). She tested the badger and decided there was easier food elsewhere. If other food was scarce (usually in the winter), it would have been "the end" for the American badger.

You repeatedly say "times the size" when you mean "times the weight." "Times the size" means that you measure the length and height and multiply that to get the length and height of the creature you are comparing it to. So "90 times the size" should be either "90 times the weight" or else "4 times the size" (based on what I see in the video).
