I love these projects from todays video. And your caning was gorgeous. I’m not sure I could ever do anything like this. But I think the woven container was my favorite. It’s so cute. WHOA!!!! OH "HONEY" (see what I did there? lol), you put so much work into these projects! But boy was it well worth it because they came out FANTASTIC! I love the weaving (caning?) techniques. Especially using newspaper. What a labor of love to save something we all love- the Earth! I am so honored that you participated in this cool-ab. I am definitely keeping these techniques in mind for some future projects. Btw, if you're hoping to get some chalk paint in the Plaid Ambassador box, forget it. lol. They do send some GREAT paints, but they are all acrylic. However, they also send some hard coat AND dish washer safe Mod Podge. Those make awesome sealers and can be used before painting as well to help the paint stick better. The hard coat would be good to use on the newspaper strips too!

Awe, thank you Crystal 😊💛🐝🌻 This is such a fun challenging cool-an. I am already trying to brainstorm every time I hold “trash” now LOL. I always use bits and pieces, but it’s even more challenging to try to use mostly recycled stuff. Thanks for the heads up about the plaid box. I should have paid more attention to the unboxing crafters have done. They said early June, so I feel like maybe it isn’t coming anyway. I will have to try and follow up. 😊💛🐝🌻🐝🌻

I'm so happy to hear that this cool-ab makes crafters stop and think about what they can use their trash to make! If I can inspire and incite laughter, I have attained my goal. Not to mention- help save the Earth AND help save people money!!
