Honey,chili cauliflower recipe
Serving size:2-4
Ingredients:
Cauliflower-1(medium size slices)
Capsicum-1
Green chili-2-3
Garlic chopped-1 teaspoon
Ginger chopped-1 teaspoon
Onion-1 chopped
Green onion-1/2 cup chopped
Coriander/ cilantro stems-1 teaspoon chopped
Ginger julienned-1 teaspoon
White sesame seeds-1 teaspoon
Soy sauce-1 tablespoon
Tomato ketchup-2 tablespoon
Cornstarch-1 teaspoon + 2 tablespoon
All purpose flour-1/4 cup
Salt-1 teaspoon
Honey-1 teaspoon
Kashmiri re chilli powder-2 teaspoon
Vegetable oil for frying
Recipe:
In a bowl add cauliflower pieces, all purpose flour, 2 tablespoon cornstarch, salt, 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder. Mix it well. Add some water if needed to make the batter. Heat oil in a frying pan, fry cauliflower pieces until golden. Take out on a tissue paper to leave excess oil. Take another frying pan. Add 2 tablespoon oil to heat. On high flame add garlic, ginger, green chilies, onion and fry these for few seconds. Add capsicum pieces , fry for few seconds. Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, kashmiri red chili powder, add water in cornstarch and pour it into the frying pan. Mix it well with other things. Add fried cauliflowers. Add sesame seeds, cilantro stems, green onions. Mix well and it is ready to serve. Garnish it with julienned ginger. Enjoy with noodles/ roti/ paratha.
