This might be one of the dumbest ideas I've had... I made this video so you don't have to. If you've ever wondered what happens when you pour honey on a marble run, you've got your answer now. If you've never wondered that, well, get ready for an educational physics demonstration on viscosity.

I just got my first marble set yesterday. I discovered that some of the marbles were actually considerably faster than others. Is this typical for these sets or did I just get a weird set? I finally found two that are pretty competitive. Right now what I'm thinking I'll do is have one marble in the races represent India and the other one will represent the UK. This should make for some interesting viewing. Of course I'll use a different country if the people of India tell me to. As for the British well this Irishman doesn't really give a hoot if they want to be represented or not. They should have thought of that before they decided to take over half the world.

They may seem sweet at first taste, but that winding track can only lead to the spinning gates of purgatory. I, too, have seen the beast that put an end to my poor boys, and I cannot help but feel that there was some Byzantine justice in the curvature of its loops and tunnels.
