she was beyond gorgeous - the pale skin, golden hair, statuesque, and that was just the physical ! Talented, good person. She could/should have been in more films, I think she was a bit ahead of her time for women in dramas.

I love this show since I was a kid. Bought the entire series DVD on Amazon. Years ago I heard a rumor that Madonna was going to bring this to the big screen but... alas, it was just a rumor😞

I was 14 when this came out. Seeing a female as a lead character was rare on tv, and to have such a dynamic, take charge character wasn't happening at all. Imagine. It made a positive impact on me, many others. Aaron Spelling produced this and cancelled it after only one year, thinking that the Avengers show would be picked up and already had a female lead. How disappointing. RIP Ms. .Francis, you were a class act.

It would also be almost a decade before you had this type of woman heading up a network TV show. The show suffered from being one of the last "1950s-style" TV shows. Half-hour, black & white, standard sets. If it had started one year later, or even been an hour show like Wild WIld West or Man from UNCLE, it may have had a chance. Anne Francis never got the credit she deserved.

I greatly enjoyed seeing this video, not only because of Ann Francis being in it but also the late Alan Reed, who voiced Fred Flintstone had a role in it as well. I have enjoyed everything I've seen Ann Francis do. She was soooooo freaking sexy and a damned good actress. RIP Ann.
