Dylan and Robert travel to Arkansas to buy a HoneyBee header? Will it work for their operation or did they make a big mistake? Watch this year and fine out.

As far as Draper belts go, we usually run them unless they have a tear in them. We just make sure to keep an extra on hand. It doesn’t take long to replace.

You’ll be in heaven going from a 900 series auger head to a Draper. We went from 930f heads to an fd70 and fd75. It was as nice as experiencing auto steer for the first time.

Depends on the crop I wish we still had our 935f auger headers in canola because drapers don’t like crops like that

WTH?!? You bought a new header and I had to find out about it on KZbin?!? I thought we were friends??? 😂 Congrats! You’re right doesn’t look like it’s been over very many acres. Hydraulic knife drive isn’t bad, unless you get into some bad grass or try to cut perpendicular to the rows.

I think it will work good for cutting soybeans. I have run a 36' HB similar to that one on a 2388 cutting dry peas here in Alberta. We cut them low to the ground just like beans. There is a auger available for the back of the header to help feed bushy crops like peas. Not sure soys would need that. A draper is usually good for 20% combine capacity increase. HB header are made in Frontier Saskachewan, just north east of Havre MT

We had a 30 foot just like it. Loved it but traded for a 36 macdon. Dang good header and we never locked nothing out in wheat, just let it roll on the tires. The hydraulic drive is awesome and the transport kit is handy. You'll throw rocks at your auger header after running that.

Watch that wobble box assemble on side that attaches to knife. It will break if you get into dirt because that is a rice head made to run off the ground not like when you are in beans. You may want to weld a skid plate under it to protect it. I have seen it happen first hand. But head very durable.
