Honeycomb sandwich impact test

Impact testing an aramid honeycomb sandwich with skin of glass and flax fibers. Impact energy: 13.3 J. Most energy is absorved by the honeycomb core. The flax fibers keep the broken glass fibers together preventing these from splintering.
