Incredible review, fam. Super thorough. Just grabbed a pair from StockX below retail and very excited to get them. Was looking for a pair as comfortable as my Bred Flyknit 1’s and had been looking at the Royal Flyknits, but $300 is tough to justify, even as a head, for a shoe that retailed at $150 (resellers are insane). My wife has a pair of the CMFT 2 multi colorway and she swears by them. Good stuff, bro!

Just Ordered AJ 1 Zoom CMFT 2 'Black & Fire Red' and the sizing is really OFF. I'm usually size 11 or 11.5 but damn size 11 is really tight this time and I think what would be comfortable is size 12. So I recommend 1 size higher than usual.

I think that the sizing is just right once you get them on foot. They're like the Air Fear Of God 1's in this respect. The collar is really tight upon entry, but once your foot gets into the gussetted tongue, it's TTS.

picked these up in Australia on the 2022 release. Changed for red laces and they are amazing. Slightly narrower toebox than some AJ1 lows I have, but put some solid walking miles in them. I'm happy to take the US11 size, but if you were really worried about a little toe rub, then half size might be a good option.

Getting the uni blue and grey. Very soon. My 1st j1. Full suade biggest thing to make a shoe super comfortable. I have full suade dunk high sb pro decon a mouthful i love those so comfortable.

Good choice! Yes, suede being (for the most part) a single layer, means that there's no stiffener on the exterior of the leather that makes it somewhat less comfortable. It's that stiffer layer that eventually creases on most shoes.

Well, it's comfortable "for a Jordan 1." Meaning that there are lots of other more comfortable shoes. It's definitely not as cushy as an ultra boost, but you're not trying to compare it to a modern runner. It's a retro from 1985 that's been updated to be more comfortable, where as the ultra boost or the more comfy Invincible Run that's Zoom X are designed from day 1 here in 2023 to be the top of the line in being lightweight and performance focused. The Jordan 1 CMFT 2 is a compromise designed to give you some of the Jordan 1 styling without sacrificing comfort too much. It's an entirely different problem that they're trying to address.

Try Reshoevenator. Works for me in a pinch, but I prefer to use an ultrasonic cleaning service that they have available near my house, that costs about $6 and is nondestructive, using sound waves.

Difficult to say. even if I had both in the same size, the 1 could be broken in or bottomed out. In hand, the 1 feels softer to the touch when squeezed but this does not always translate on foot

Yes, but it's negligable. Comparing against 6 pairs of the Jordan 1 High OG, they are about 2-4mm shorter in average.

Personally, I go to a neighborhood service (Metropole in Manila) that uses ultrasonic technique. Costs only $7 USD per pair and it's the best.

so far, they've not creased at all. This "unusual synthetic material" tends to make bigger bumps than leather when flexed, and thus creasing has not yet been an issue

because of the gussetted tongue, it's harder to get on vs a standard AJ1. A shoe horn helps. Once they are on, they are true to size, but a little looser in the toe area. The gussetted tongue also allows you to use very loose lacing (for style) but the shoe stays snug on your foot.
