I am 100% on board with his definition of a great relationship. Was in a committed relationship for 15 yrs and now I live alone for the first time since I moved out of parents at 19 and I absolutely love it and almost feel threatened by someone wanting to come live with me. His way of looking at it the living sitch makes so much sense to me 🖤🫶🏼🖤love from Philly

Joe completely speaks my relationship language. I never understood how intimate relationships work. Seems a recipe for disaster. We work 8-10 hrs with other humans then expected to come home to someone else for the rest of the day?? When is there time to decompress and recharge from the mental drain of others? Keep speaking out Joe you articulated that perfectly 👍😊

I’ve been watching Taste Buds from the beginning and never knew Joe and I are the same person. When he went in on his commited relationship but no marriage, no co-habitation rant… I’ve never heard anyone else say that. Maybe the no marriage part but everyone wants to live together. Hell yeah Roses! Loved seeing you with Pete Holmes recently and the intimately honest conversation you had on You Made It Weird. Uninformed, O&A . . . . As brutal and hilarious as much of that era was I always appreciated hearing your presence in the mix, having a more sensitive & nuanced individual there amongst some of the insecure idiocy. Lol. It's great when a comedian can hold a genuinely sincere conversation in seriousness with equal passion to the comedic energy in the room, not always needing to trash everything or reject earnest sincerity. Idk that you'd ever see this . . . but nevertheless, Alfred Hitchcock fuckin stinks! Lol

I feel the same exact way. It’s hard to find exactly what Joe is looking for - it’s what I want too. Someone where we can hang out and do everything with but doesn’t have to be super overly romantic. Someone who is fully seriously committed to you. Wants to be around and have fun but also knows their place like no overstepping and controlling, healthy boundaries. It’s hard to explain but I know when he said it I was like “wow that’s what I’m looking for too” not many people understand it.
