I have a decal on my camper that say, "Perfectly Imperfect". Don't worry about the small stuff. Flooring is awesome. For $13, I would have bought a new package also. Mismatched would bug me. One thing I would have done differently, is I would have painted the inside of the cabinet white, instead of black. It helps to see things easier.

Not everyone's favorite idea...but I use indoor out door carpet for floor for obvious reasons. Whatch what the vents going through cupboards are. Make sure they're not for venting toilet.😎🥰🏜❤

yes, outdoor carpet is a good idea, we understand hwy you would choose that. sand/dirt is horrible when in a camper. constant sweeping, vacuuming. rugs are a must for us.

omg just saw devil's den on the intro, I was just showing my mom that place! my gramma is in Ocala and mom in Deland. we're going next time I visit!!! Wanted to mention, you can get a thin natural cork roll for cheap to put under the mattress, it will resist mold etc! THE FLOOR TILE IS DOPEEEE. I think you should wait, get the pack and add some tile to the floor under the dinette. that would really finish it!!!! This look sooo amazing, I love your choices and color palette. yessss devils den is AMAZING! tip, we went in the wintertime, outside temps were 40 degrees but the water stays a constant 72. so the water feels warm. no one was there! we went early in the morning and it was incredible. people couldn't believe we got all that footage with no one in the background, that place is usually crowded! enjoy!!

hey guys! Great idea for the pantry with the pull out drawers. . Loving how things are looking! You should consider putting something under the bed to allow for air flow, so mold etc doesn't build up on your nice new mattress. I forget the name of it, but there is a product that van lifers use, it's about one inch thick, and is a tight weaved plastic type mesh thingie! lol. It allows air to move under the mattress (moisture builds up while you sleep and can make the bottom of the mattress moldy). VANCITY VANLIFE, Chrome, has it, check out his page. Having the floor a darker color has a grounding effect and it does tie everything together. As for the rubber piece on the wall, I would leave it as is. Oh no, rotten wood! I hope it's not too serious and an easy repair. Thanks for the update, it does look like a new camper.

I think those pads under the mattress were meant for airflow to keep it from getting moldy. The mattress needs airflow under it to ensure no mold growth. There are lots of great options out there you should look into!

Good point! Appreciate you dropping a comment, we weren't sure what the point of the foam was. We will figure out something else. It's looking like a major overhaul in that area unfortunately....stay tuned!

Oof. Water damage. I'm guessing that's coming from the shower area? The truck camper looks BEAUTIFUL! You have inspired me to finally paint my bathroom. My husband thinks it looks good just brown from the previous owners (wood cabinets, brown floor and shower tile, brown walls, brown countertop, almond colored outlet covers, wood trim, brown EVERYTHING). I've been anxious about doing it, since we're not in agreement, but I NEED me some color! This project is getting going right now. Love your videos, and I hope that little bag full of mildewy stuff doesn't cause you too much trouble!

It's amazing how ugly the old floors started looking once everything else was freshened up lol! Love the new flooring, gives me art deco vibes. And I still can't get over how gorgeous and clean the kitchenette looks. I'd be standing around staring at it too, you guys should be so proud of all your work. If I were to try painting that rubber strip I'd probably try going for a color like that charcoal black you used for the fridge door, I think it would match the linework in the wallpaper pattern. That being said, I think it looks fine as it is. Also that cliff-hanger at the end oh lorrrddd that doesn't look good, I hope whatever's going on now isn't too demoralizing for you! Hang in there, honeys!

You need airflow under the mattress to avoid mold. There are a few options. Good call on getting another box to finish the job. After being careful to match it up, you don’t want to slack off on the most visible part of the floor as you get in. You said it was inexpensive. The sliding drawer is a great idea to get the most out of your storage.

Dark green would be great for the ribbing! I would suggest just stroking the brush one way, even with a make up brush, for the precision you’re talking about. Whatever happens, it looks great!

I love the flooring. I am curious how it will hold up. I would love something like that in my galley kitchen and laundry room. The sliders in the pantry have me a bit worried. I am curious how you will reinforce that. Maybe the weight of the items will stabilize it. Your home is beautiful! I bet you can't wait to get on the road. Come on up to Cape Cod!
