Girlfriend my experience is like yours! It hurt the whole time getting my eyeliner tattooed. It took two hours for my upper. Mary used four different numbing cream/spray and nothing worked! I was ready to get out of there without finishing. Thank God she finally finished. Now I’m too scared to go in for the touch-up and my lower eyelashes. 😰😰😰

Oh man... I'm so sorry to hear that. I haven't touched up since my original touch up years ago and honestly, I don't think I will. It's faded since this video was posted, but with mascara, it still enhances my lash line some.

Even though it does look a little faded, I think it looks fantastic! So soft and pretty. The little wing looks really elegant and not so noticeable that it looks unnatural.

Thank you so much Adrienne. I like that if I just put mascara on, it looks like I have liner, even if light. I can always add brown eye shadow as a liner if I need a little more. ❤

Yes, yesterday I had brows, eyeliner and lips done. I look like Ive been beat up. I’ve had the eyelash extensions and when you have them taken off you will see how much damage was done. You will have even less eyelashes until they grow out but I have been told they will grow out. To be honest you would be better off getting something like Latissa to make your lashes grow. I have seen videos when people use castrol oil cold pressed kind and some people swear it will make them grow so I have order some from amazon.

I'm sorry you look beat up :( Thank you for sharing that about the lashes with me. I've been using a few of my favorite eye lash serums and I'm actually quite impressed with how well my lashes have been growing lately. It's not super long, but still visible which I really really like.

Is your eyeliner tattoo permanent or semi-permanent?

Hello. It's permanent like a traditional tattoo.

My eyeliner tattoo really hurts from beginning to end. Same as you my pain tolerance is very high even with numbing cream. I have to go back for my for a week touch up, but really afraid it’s going to hurt just as much as it did the first time any advice?

I'm so sorry! I can tell you that taking arnica helped with the swelling, but pain wise... not much. There was no CBD gummies or drops back then, so I would have taken that if I could. Maybe try that if feasible. I will pray for you so it goes easily and no pain.

I am interested in recovery time...How long did it take to heal? What did it look like while healing? I want to be able to go back to work the next day, is that a realistic expectation?Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us!
@HoneygirlK7 жыл бұрын
I was able to go back to work the next day after having it done. My eyes were puffy (like I had been up crying the night before), but it wasn't so drastic that I couldn't be out in public. It took approximately 2-3 weeks to completely heal and I went back into the office to have my first touch up (in case needed) about 5 weeks after my initial application. While healing, it actually looked really nice, but because I have sensitive skin, it did show some spots of dryness. I moisturized and cleansed my face with Cetaphil only and that helped to keep the skin supple and from drying out as much as possible. When it comes to things like this, everyone is an individual and what might work for me may not work for others. I had a few friends that had their liner tattooed (by a different person than me) and they looked like they had black eyes for about 3 days to a week, while others were like me and only had puffy eyes. If you have had tattoos before, I would look at how your body reacts to them as healing. If you have naturally dry skin, you'll have a tendency to be dry and therefore should check with your esthetician on their recommended moisturizers to help. I hope that helped. Let me know if you have any questions ;)

+Kitzia Roberts thanks for watching. :) I hate having Eczema, that is why I do not use foundation unless I am doing something specific like Halloween makeup and it calls for it or otherwise... it can cause my eczema to flare up really bad. I have severe eczema so if I can avoid the flare up - I try my best.

Oh wow lower eye liner tattoo, that must really hurt. I have my upper eyeline done... after several passes on the same area it really hurt. But definitely loving the result. I can never apply eyeliner properly and hate that it smudges and all these make me feel really insecure using eyeliner. I hardly have any lashes and they are ultra thin. I think you have better lashes than me. Also, apparently the numbing cream that can be used is only about 5% max, which does not do much and wears off quickly.
@HoneygirlK3 жыл бұрын
I swear it was pretty painful considering my pain tolerance. I have heard that the numbing cream is really nothing to help with the pain - that's horrible to think about and man I hated how much it hurt. I'm sorry you hardly have lashes... but thankful that this is an option to help with that. Thanks for watching and stopping by.
@wem-c9f3 жыл бұрын
@@HoneygirlK Yeah the 5% doesn't do much honestly. I gritted my teeth towards the end lol.. and at times went to my happy place (the beach) mentally hahaha...

@HoneygirlK3 жыл бұрын
true, all tattoos definitely hurt... I have several. I just didn't get numb with any of the numbing creams or solutions they put on. But, I'm also the type of person that when given anesthesia for surgery, I don't stay asleep as long as I should... so the numbing agent wore off before it was supposed to or just didn't work at all.
