We say goodbye to Thailand & hello to the Maldives! 3 years ago we were in the Maldives and Stephen proposed, so seeing as we are getting married super soon we thought it would be nice to end our Asian trip re-visiting the Maldives at a pre-honeymoon before the big day!

love your video, the resort looks fantastic! My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon/2nd anniversary(long story) in the Maldives and I can say I would love to celebrate every anniversary there. You are so fortunate to see the dolphins on your arrival, we took a dolphin cruise but alas could not find any, did see some on the way to the airport via boat on our departure day. Had a really hard time watching this video as it brings back alot of fantastic memories of our visit to the Maldives. I was green with envy! lol We stayed at the Hideaway Beach Resort, some very similar things but your food looked better. One thing I wish we had done was take the snorkeling tour and as well had the professional video done, the drone shots in yours look amazing. Thanks for posting such a lovely video and I hope your wedding goes/went well!

The resort is Fushi, so most people refer to the island based on the resort that is on there. So just look up Soneva Fushi!

yay for binge sesh!! To answer your question I would say no, quite the opposite actually! By wanting to share our journey with you guys it makes us go out and do more, wake up so I can fly the drone at sunrise when instead I would rather sleep in. For example when we were in the city hotel in KK I was absolutely exhausted and just wanted to sleep but I really wanted to show you guys the city, so I caught the Uber out to the mosque (half falling asleep haha) but I am so grateful I did that because I saw the beautiful building! Vlogging makes us do and see more.

Wow ! Thank you for awesome and informative video ! A Professional video ! A big big love for the creative video thumbnail ! Maldives is a country of beautiful islands. The airport is on an island and main city (Male) is on another island. There are regular ferry service between airport island and main island. The hotel (Somerset Inn), we stayed, was very good in hospitality. It is very easy to change US dollars in the country, it is slightly not easy to change other currencies. Banks at airport at departure will only change the remaining Rufiyaa (which was exchanged during arrival). Streets in main city are very narrow. Bikes are mostly parked on the streets. The taxi can be hired for local transportation. To go to other islands, ferry service (which are relatively cheaper than private speed boats) can be used. Male island is highly populated but other islands do not have much of population. There are private island and private resorts as well.
