Dave inspired me to go Live after I watched him play in the late 90s. I am glad I did follow his lead as I still play after all these years, I am still learning and discovering the endless possibilities of playing Live. Thanks for the great interview 🙏😎

i saw him at meredith in '98 (according to the internet). somehow i wangled a stage pass when i ran into a school mate who was doing sound there maybe(?simon d'argerville, wonder what he's up to now) - i had my mum's old pentax mx 35mm, a 50mm f1.7 lens and one roll of film. for the whole festival. a roll of 24. lol. they were terrible, but funnily enough I became a professional photog 20ish yrs later after deciding i didnt like selling my soul in the corporate world tldr - epic meredoof

Dargs did Meredith for years. He was working at ACMI a few years back and I believe he is still in Melbourne. He told me a story about rigging halogen festoons at Meredith, and when the rain was pouring down, they started to pop (just blow out, not physically explode) all whilst there were thousand of punters walking around underneath them.

Saw honesysmack at Big Day Out in 2000. I'd loved him for ages before that. He cheered to the crowd something I couldn't quite hear. It was either "I love everyone" or "I love heroin". Seriously. It could have been either.

Honeysmack played at my 21st. I knew a girl at the time who was his ex girlfriend and we had a combined 21st and her 25th and she got him to DJ at our party. Agnesika was her name.

Electronic Mail. 😂😂😂😂 I think first time I saw him was at Revs in early 2000s. Good to see he is getting more recognition now days. I agree with him that music scene collapsed in early 2000s and became one “industry” instead.

Christianity was what caused the Roman Empire to fall. At the time people were basically serfs beholden to their landlord or their king, it gave them a voice and let them feel that they were loved by God and could reach heaven through Jesus. Through Christianity there were uprisings throughout the Empire and the rulers started to lose control, so embraced the religion and made it basically law. By giving the people what they wanted they maintained the status quo for a while longer. I tend to believe that Jesus is a myth that was used to spread and legitimise the Jewish religion to the Goy and take over the Roman Empire from the bottom up. It was a shield for them, they were portrayed as the bad people by killing Jesus and holding people to ransom with high interest, but also as "God's chosen people". This distinction meant they could do dirty dealings, they could operate within the monetary system, they could lie, cheat & steal without being killed by their host countries that they worked to subvert and control over Millennia. Now they own the worlds money supply which really boils down to your future time and labor, they own the Catholic church, they propagate their rule through the most powerful governments & institutions, they start all the wars and profit from both sides. Don't get me wrong, religion is good, it ties people together for a common cause, it gives instructions on how to live wisely, it allows them to move on from the past, it opens us up to the infinite nature of consciousness, but... White people would have had the same societies with our our narrative without the Jewish avatar because it was White People that conquered, built and then civilised the world. But through their Jesus myth our culture, customs and religion was completely wiped out and we pray to a Jewish God.
