Another beautiful soap! My husband remarked on my “soap obsession” recently, and yet I continue to add to my wishlist for the next release...😂 I consider handmade cold process soap to be artwork that just so happens to also be functional, so I’m classifying my rapidly expanding soap stash as an “art collection”. That makes it okay.

Can you just add a tin of coconut milk like that to any batch/recipe after the oil and lye is blended? :)

Depends on your batch size and how much you want to use. Using too much can make your batter heat up and get thick. Mine is 25 pound batches and I use the whole can (13.5oz aka 5% of my oil weight) But I also deduct 13.5oz from my water amount.

I make such large batches i would imagine if I used powdered i would have to use so much and it would take a lot of stick blending to make sure it’s all blended in. Which I don’t want to do because the more stick blending the faster it thickens up.

For fragrances that contain enough vanilla to heavily discolor, do you or have you used a vanilla color stabilizer for cp? What are your thoughts on it? Wondering if it's worth it.

beautiful soaps as always. love the light colors. Also been looking in a soap cutter. Out of all yours, which one do you like best? And how thick are the bars? Are they 1" or 2" bars?

I really like them all equally. I would recommend getting a single bar cutter at first. You may change the thickness of your bars and if you buy a multi bar cutter you’re stuck with that size. Workshop Heritage has them and Buds wood shop on Etsy. Mine are 1.5”

Hello ophilia I like watching your videos so much , nice and elegant work🥰 I tried heat transfer method but never works for me, I sometimes needed to heat the solution to complete melt all hard wax I noticed you have some liquid oil with hard oils and waxes when you add lye solution ?

I don’t use hard wax. That’s probably why it doesn’t melt for you. I think you need to actually heat up wax for it to melt. Yes I add my liquid oils and hard oils in the same container.
