The SAFE system is a fully engineered solution for your building, allowing you to bridge the gap between residential and landlord’s fire alarm systems in High Risk Residential Buildings (HRRB’s). We have designed a system that allows you to have an BS5839 Part 6 system work in conjunction with a full BS 5839 Part 1 system without any compromise.
EN54 Part 2 Type B Dependency Approved

Honeywell Gent I don’t understand why you guys have made this alarm button as the s quad detector can tell difference between steam from a shower and burning toast and the real thing so it determines what a false alarm and what’s not. And I have been in building where their has been burned toast and a bit of smoke and the detectors did not go off as it’s not a fire

@Jake O’keefe Not all the s-quad sensors are as smart, the s-quads that are only fitted with a single optical sensor are a lot more prone to false alarming to steam or burnt food. Those types of s-quads are mostly found in flats, so for example if the owner of the flat was to set the alarm off and the smoke or aerosol etc doesn't clear out of the sensor in time before the rest of the sounders are sounded he would end up causing a lot of disruption evacuation a whole building. With the button the owner of the flat can simply press that button and comfortably know that he isn't going to evacuated a whole building, that is why i think this button is a great idea!

Could be if The alarm goes of if smoke is involved in the experiment and you can just go to the wall and turn the alarm off

We can use those units with our Notifier panels such as the AFP-2800, Onyx Series AFP-3030 and the CFP-16. This would stop the Tyco T-Gen 50 tone generator in a Notifier AFP-3030 panel from sounding and playing the AS2220 signals during an event any activation of nuisance alarms.
