i happened on LIPxLIP's song Romeo and was really into it! but it was as deep as i got, until i unrelatedly started watching Heroines Run the Show-- and i still didnt make the connection until towards the end! i only just found out theres a larger world around it, and your video was great at explaining it in an easy to comprehend way! thank u so much !!

As a vocaloid/utaite/seiyuu fan in my younger days, I used to be really into the confession love series. Especially since they have such powerhouses lf seiyui singing the song (and also in the anime) Kamiya Hiroshi? Kenichi Suzumura? Kaji Yuki?! I got into the honeyworks song because of Kaji Yuki Solution for Jealousy. From there, I keep up with some of the main songs and the anime. Btw the opening to Ao Haru Ride is totally Iconic and I can't never skip it! Recently I've been revisiting the love series (the tokyo session one) and on the tokyo spring session I literally cried so hard watching them closes the ending of their story where they got married and even have kids ❤

I’ve been following LIPxLIP and the idol series since romeo (I am weak to all things zakki) but over the past week I decided to give the love series a proper try- romance isn’t really to my taste, but I’d be lying if I said the music and MVs aren’t equally gorgeous. My fave has gotta be yume fanfare for the inspirational lyrics, but tokyo spring session has been a persistent bop (daisukitte itte) ever since it started showing up in my recs… two years ago…

I was taken aback when I heard that Tokyo Winter Session had a bunch of famous voice actors in it. And then they had a few songs with Inori Minase, and I was like, "Wait, nah. This ain't just a random KZbin channel if they can have popular voice actors." Small tangent aside, my second tangent begins with my acknowledgement with the fact I'm too invested in the lore behind their characters for my own good. So much characterization between the characters that it really could be its own anime-4:11 just started playing and HOLY COW THEY HAVE THOSE THINGS??? 5:03 WHAT????? 6:50 the music video that i've seen about these two in which the red haired boy doesnt get the girl made me so sad

I'm a big Haniwa lover, so seeing it explained like this for beginners makes me so happy. However, a fun aspect about Haniwa is that because they are a multimedia franchise there's often a gap between each iteration. It's mostly noticeable in the Love Series, where the story changes a bit (not too significantly) between MV to Light Novel to Anime to App Game. That's something that I find really fun in HoneyWorks. It's very much an ongoing project, like a friend sharing their ideas with you.

Omg I just found out ur channel from the Tuyu video and ur so good at explaining I love Honeyworks sm but when watching this vid I'm surprised I know so little about them even tho I watched some animes from them and heard so many of their songs😭😭My fav song is "below-average heroine" I love the message it conveys that you don't need to fall inlove to be a heroine(≧▽≦)!!

Oh my god, ty for your video, personally i've been hws fan for 9 years, since 2014-2015 as i remember, absolutely a love series fan in general and HaruMiou's fan in specific. In addition, i would like to mention that gen 1 cps r all married (happy wedding HaruMiou🎉🎉) and also have kids, they have planned on the next generation but idk when will they release. Not only one-side love, crush, love at the first sight,etc...but also distance relationship (yeh my fav couple know for the distance relationship and also for spring and 10cm), triangle love,..., tbh, the timeline in novel,anime itself sometimes r really fucked up, also they have various of series despite kokuhaku series, for ex: hashiri tsuzukette yokata- talking abt voice actor/actress. Also i would like to recommend reading novels, they have good stories mostly.There are more on more about them but hope y'all enjoy hws songs ❤

If you didnt play HaniPre, you can check the event stories from the game (eventhough it was out of service since last year), there are translated on youtube, tumblr,... and yes, the game also have mainsto for each couple and also for idol series,but i dont remember if they made it all cause some of the couples have just owned the mvs, and im not sure if the mainsto in game is 100% correctly like in the novel. So pls read the novel 🥲

And there is 2 more idol groups that the video didnt mention, is ASCANA and Dolce, ASCANA have graduted bc both of them are idols irl, and due to the schedule,also thats the collab between hws and johnny. Abt Dolce, they r not really famous so ig hws didnt develop them more... still, they r have cards and songs in game 😭

Good video! Was personally a big fan of the Confession series even way back in high school (am a working adult now lol). I got lost throughout the years and actually didn't have any idea how now Haniwa feature idol songs but this has been a great help!
