The reason why Sin-Yu fell in love with Hong-Jo was because she listened to him. If you noticed the series Hong-Jo knows a lot more of him than Sin-Yu does to her. The father does not listen, and the girlfriend does not either. No matter what he says to her that he needs a break or a space, she still insists on going to his place and wants to decorate his house and propose a marriage The same goes for his best friend but his mom. His mother listens to him and they have a good relationship. He saw that with Hong-Jo. She is not that smart but naive in a sense of sweetness like his mom. Sin-Yu has everything in life, looks, money, and is highly educated. He did not want to have a woman who looked like a model, known in society, or at the same level as he was. He has all the above. He needs Hong-Jo, a simple woman who makes his heart beat fast, makes him happy, makes him smile, and makes him cry/sad when she is sad. That is love and they are destined to be. It has nothing to do with Love Potion or the Book of Spells. My opinion. Love these two, the chemistry is overloaded! This is going to be a CLASSIC!

Первый раз так зацепила дорама, это же надо так подобрать гг, понимаю парень безумно красив, но девченка( уж какая девченка в 32) выше всяких похвал, для меня открытием стала Чо Бо А. Респект талантливой актрисе!! Так сыграть рядом с таким парнем и не потеряться на его фоне дорогого стоит. Большой респект актрисе. Смотрю именно с ней сейчас дораму про девятихвостого лиса

I’m puzzled by the Koreans’ way of addressing each other. Do they actually call each other by their full name plus ssi behind. Shinyu keeps addressing hongju as “lee hong ju ssi” until the final scene when she was poisoned. Then he called her “hong ju ah” when he was frantic.
