hello, i have a random question, I arrived in Hong Kong in the middle of the night and decided to save money by spending the night at the arrival hall in the airport. Are there any chairs available for sleeping?

I didn't recognize the zone that provide comfortable rest chairs for sleeping. But there are some chair for take a rest in both 1st floor and 3rd floor. Also, there are some café and restaurant to take a rest; "McDonald 3rd floor", "Can-teen 3rd floor", "Starbuck 3rd floor", and "Pret 1st floor". Hope this help!!!

Octopus card isn't sell in 7/11, but you can top-up card at 7/11. I'm not sure about open hour of service counter but I believed that it open 24 hr. hope this help

Yes, there are charging area in both the Arrival Hall (1st floor) and Departure Hall (2nd floor). If you have trouble finding them, you can ask the staff at the information center located at the center of the floor. Have a nice trip!

This is probably very late but incase for the future you most affordable would definitely be the mtr but if you don’t care about the cash taxi is always the way to go the buses ive actually not been on that much but yea. Its also considered cheap according to the video. Hope this helps

There is a Travelex currency exchange counter open from 07:00 to 23:00. If the counter is closed, there are ATM machines where you can deposit money in Hong Kong currency. Additionally, 7-11 are open 24/7. I want to assure you that Hong Kong is a country with convenient travel and transportation. Have a fantastic trip!

Hi! There is enough money on it, so you don't need to top up for the bus. The Octopus selling machine costs 150 HKD, which includes a card fee of 50 HKD and already has 100 HKD topped up for use. The bus to the city is around 40 HKD. Have a nice trip!

@@fritzdlf5490 Hey. So I was in HK in September and one easy way to not use cash for buying the octopus card is downlaod the app (octopus) on your phone over the app store. You can then top it up with money ober your credit card and you just tap your phone everytime when you go on a bus train etc.

Uber is available in Hong Kong, and you can request a pick-up at the airport in parking zone (a short walk from terminal). For transportation to Causeway Bay, I recommend taking a bus, as it's the most convenient way to reach it from the airport, with cost around 40 HKD per person. In Causeway Bay, there is an outstanding dim sum restaurant with tasty taste located beside the main street. If you have the chance, don't miss it! Hope this help!

@@LucilaRendon-k2r the last time I visit (6 months ago) I use Uber. If you are with big group and carry big suitcases, Uber is a good choice. Simple, fast, no need to wait, comfortable, and drop off without any hassle. But if you are traveling alone, Uber is quite pricey. There are many other options tho. The most popular one is by Airport Express if I am not mistaken

Cant blame you tho, I got scared and super nervous when I transit to Japan in this airport, and it was my first flight to other country I even never get on subway because Im stuck in Bali my whole life and we have no subway in Bali.😂 The moment I saw they have 560 gate and see a lot of escalator are there stacking to each other, I become super nervous luckily my layover time is 3 hours so I have time to think 🤣

Terrible airport no where to find a place to charge phone , hard to find food and no where to find beers at & i converted 20 USD to Hong Kong money and couldnt afford a small charger 🤦‍♂️ information desks werent good on trying to find gate trust me this airport is annoying youll be glad once you leave it just a heads up.

There is food. McDonald's, and also, you have to charge ur phone before u leave home. If you don't remember to, just bring a powerbank with you! The airport design is atleast great and huge.
