It has a fake shutter sound. However you can turn on silent shutter aswell.

On ascale of 10 how would you rate the fx30 in terms of photography? I really want the fx30 because its a cinema line camera but leaning towards a6700 because its a hybrid. kindly give your thoughts

@michaeljessejay5628 had the fx30 for half a year and sold it for an a7cii, if I were to do it again, I'd get a a6700. I missed having a mechanical shutter and viewfinder. Realistically, they do the same thing, and you will unlikely use the cinema features on the fx30 if you're just a looking to mess around.

@michaeljessejay5628 I would say yes, has the same sensor and lots of the same features. 10 bit video and 4k120 are the main ones.
