Travelling has played a big part of who and where I am right now, thanks to your travel Vlogs. I started being a solo-traveller 2 years ago as a hobby and my first trip I visted was Thailand which is one of the countries I have been going back (I have been there 5x in a span of 2 years) and what I like about travelling is to explore the unknown and the food/cafe culture which I am happily to found your vlogs 2 years up ago until the presents . Food has played a big culture in my career and lifestyle and with that, it follows the coffee culture of every country which offers different history, variations, aroma and taste. I have been taking notes of all your coffee places you have visited and recommended which is an awesome journey such as the REC Coffee in Fukuoka ( the fact that you are immersing yourself from the perspective of other lifestyle content creator who will never deceive you with their honest preference and feedback). 2. Hi Sam and Victor, thank you for making me wanting to travel to all the lovely places you’ve been. My favourite part about travelling is integrating myself as a temporary local and observing people and imagining how their day to day life would be. I always pretend that I live here for a short time and this my daily routine. Travelling really makes me want to be a better person cause I always end up meeting wonderful people who help me out in some way or the other :)

What I love most about travelling is the chance to truly be me. I always solo travel, so when I explore another culture/ country, I really discover new parts about myself from being around a truly new experience. I find travelling truly inspiring. I don’t have any social media, but I live in London!

I travel because it gives me the opportunity to connect deeply with cultures that are different from my own, helping me appreciate diverse traditions, perspectives, and ways of life. Experiencing new cuisines is more than just tasting food-it's a way of understanding history, geography, and the people behind it. Every journey challenges my worldview, pushing me to question my assumptions and grow in ways I never could by staying in my comfort zone. It’s in those moments of connection-whether through conversations, shared meals, or unfamiliar customs-that I feel most alive, aware of how beautifully complex and interconnected the world truly is.

I love to travel because it allows me to experience life beyond the borders of my own city. Each destination offers its own unique culture, landscapes, flavors, and stories, expanding my perspective on the world. Exploring different places and meeting new people helps me see life in all its diversity-from bustling cities to quiet villages, each with its own rhythm and way of living. The world is vast, and I feel that missing out on experiencing other cities, cultures, and natural wonders would be missing out on a part of life itself. Traveling reminds me how beautifully varied life can be, and that there’s always something new to learn, appreciate, and connect with wherever I go. @keiseee follower from Cebu, Philippines! 🇵🇭

For me, there’s a difference between solo travel and group travel. One thing I’d like to highlight is solo travel because I discovered and appreciate that it promotes personal growth, pushes me out of my comfort zone, and fosters resilience, independence, and adaptability! I spend more time listening to myself and taking in my surroundings when I’m in a new environment. I focus on working hard in home country but at times forgotten to move in slower pace and put everything down to enjoy at the moment. And as an analog lover, I enjoy capturing moments with my film camera while exploring, for memories! I absolutely love this experience! ❤ after2midnights from SG

Hello Sam and Victor! I planned on going to Hong kong for my birthday so I searched for lots of videos about Hong Kong and I chanced upon your vlog and been an avid fan ever since. Went to Hk last week and saw it’s beauty, the culture, the tasty food, vibrant colors of the structures. I saw how disciplined the people in Hk are. Loved the railway systems, the bus driver that did not allow me to enter the bus when I tried to stop it 3 meters away from the right platform. I was in awe, and I constantly compare myself and my country with these people as I realized how different we are. After that trip, I vowed to move and walk faster like you guys do, be more disciplined, and promised myself to go back there to immerse myself more in the culture and learn more ways that I can apply in my life. It made me excited to travel more countries as I feel that I can grow more as a person just by observing and taking in all the wonders of the different places in the world, like Hk. PS. You inspired me to buy a chubby bag and converse us ox and you’re right, it took me places without having blisters 😅 From Philippines with love, @alaysakey

My favourite part of travelling is the planning that happens before departure. Anxiousness creeps in when we scramble to book our flights, accommodation, and tickets, praying that we've got it all under control. But there is also this layer of excitement that competes with the anxiety, especially when we plan for the things to do, see and eat. I still remember how my husband and I would spend our dinners at home indulging in your videos (Japan ones especially), pinning locations that caught our eyes onto our saved maps. We're headed to Bali next, and the routine will probably repeat. We enjoy the slow pace and calamity of your videos! Love from Melbourne, @shry1m 🌸

For me, traveling to a country or city is like collecting piece by piece an unfinished puzzle, the "before" pieces when we look for information about our destination, like what food we want to try, interesting places to visit, what's hype there, etc. Then the "expectations vs reality" piece where we finally get to enjoy the pieces we have planned, whether they match what we thought or not, have good time with the people we love. Then almost finish piece, when we get experience from what we have done there, and if you think the puzzle is not perfect yet, that is okay, we still have a bunch of time to travel back in another time to collect more pieces to become a perfect puzzle which you can tell a story behind the puzzle and share it the puzzle to everyone. I hope that makes sense 😁 rezaprdn from Jakarta, Indonesia

What’s most interesting about travelling is to be able to see and witness how people make spaces their own, according to the place’s geography and climate. Being able to travel means to witness survival, how individuals find a way to survive in various spots of our diverse planet. What I love the most about travelling is to be able to relate places to their history in accordance with its architecture. I am no architecture student, but I’m deeply fascinated by architecture; again, being able to travel means to witness different types of architectural wonders that are accordance to history and the geographical locations. I really admire how humans adjust and are find a way around to survive and exist. Lastly, what I love about travelling is food & bev. I love trying out new local and regional cuisines and meals, drinks as well (alcoholic and non-alcoholic :P) - it gives such a great insight to different cultures and histories. The use of regional food items based on agricultural compatibility is deeply admirable. With love, from India.

When I travel, what really draws me in is diving deep into the culture of the place. I love exploring everything from local cuisines to cafes that capture the essence of the city, tasting the unique flavors, and discovering hidden culinary gems. Museums and art scenes are also a big part of my travels - they tell stories of the place that words sometimes can’t capture. I like to walk around, getting to know the city on foot, feeling the local rhythm, and seeing where the locals spend their time. Tourist spots are fun for a day, but my real interest is in those everyday spots that locals cherish, especially small restaurants and cafes. That’s the part of travel I truly love: blending into the place, feeling less like a visitor and more like a part of the daily life. 🇵🇭 @apooooooooi 😊

1. When traveling without kids, I love trying the different foods and experiencing different cultures. With kids, I like the look of awe on their faces when seeing new things and love teaching them to appreciate and respect the different quirks and mannerisms of people in different countries. 2. I’m currently in Hongkong with my family but we’re from Singapore and I’m originally Indonesian-Chinese 😁 Unfortunately, for personal reasons, I currently do not have an Instagram account.

Woah...that opening montage!! Sensational footage and editing. You two do more for Hong Kong tourism than all the expensive promotional campaigns which the tourism association spends seriously large amounts of money on, put together. So impressed.

Hi Sam and Victor - I love traveling and getting to know other cultures through food and interacting with locals. Your videos give me inspiration on what to do when i plan my trips. The videos of HK made me learn more about my city even though i’ve lived here my whole life. I’m from HK @jyuyu and thanks for making so many videos showcasing our city!

I’m here for the gatcha giveaway 😅 but then I ended up reading most of the comments here about people experiences with traveling and what they like the most! I wanted to also write something that I like about traveling but quickly realized that traveling in my 20s, 30s and now as a 40 years old new mama is all very uniquely different. In my 20’s, when my body was still strong and the interests in getting to know people from all over the world (or that country that I was visiting at the moment) brought me to all of the loud scenes like clubs, cafes, and lots of selfies but too broke for restaurants 😅 Similarly, in my 30s but I noticed that suddenly I cared more about history and the culture of that country, and less of the loud scenes and more nature and hikes and in now being a new mama as a 40 years old, I care more about what my son sees and experience and interact with food/people/surroundings that he normally don’t interact with… where in my youth, I used to go go go and must see and try everything, today, we slow down, we look at the colors of the buildings, temples, skies, trees, we take a long walk to the playground, we play with local kids, we take quiet streets while the toddler is sleeping in the stroller and take my chances to see how local people live about their day to day… He may not remember but I will and someday I get to remind him of these moments and maybe relive them again… This is what I like the most about traveling and I understand next travel will be different 😊 @hellosleepywhale / Montreal, Canada 🫶🏽

I love how travelling lets you get a taste of how some of the other 7 billion people sharing this floating rock live. Where they're off to every day, how they speak, what they wear, their foods and everything in-between. (@kndis in Australia)

I love being able to experience new things with my husband when we travel together. We get to see everyday life from a different perspective - we enjoy popping by the local grocer/ mom and pop shop to check what locals eat/drink/put on their hair. I also love the exposure to what the locals define as beautiful through the art found while walking around. Wishing you both more years of traveling together! Thank you for giving us a glimpse into how you see the world. - @BubblyJoan from Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭

I love traveling since it gives me insight on how others live and how they navigate the world we live in. We are all different but at the same time, we are all the same. Richinnyc, New York, NY

I’m not really into traveling... because when the last day comes, I always feel like I want to stay and don’t want to go home. Just a heads up, I’m from Indonesia-and if you’re not sure where that is, you might know Bali. So anyway, even though I’m not a big fan of traveling, especially as the end of the trip approaches, I really love seeing beautiful things. Actually, it’s not just about ‘beautiful’; I’m drawn to anything new-whether it’s food, scenery, buildings-anything I don’t get to see in Indonesia. Once, my family and I went to Korea, and I had this one item on my bucket list I was looking forward to. Meeting an idol? Sure, but that wasn’t it. What I really wanted was to visit a playground-not Lotte World, but just a regular neighborhood playground for kids! I was so happy to go there; I even went at midnight to avoid being seen by the locals :3 But it was worth it, as I got to cross that off my bucket list. I also love taking photos; anything beautiful, I’ll snap it right away (I actually want to be in photos too, but I’m usually the photographer🥹). But that’s fine-as long as the photos I take turn out well, I’m happy~ That’s probably all I have to say about what I enjoy when it comes to traveling. Oh, and I also love good food!🙂↕️ By the way, I really enjoy your content-both videos and photos. Keep up the great work!🫶💗 from Indonesia, Jakarta 🇮🇩 @bknbella
