No I think he mentioned it somewhere -- he comes home late and Seonghwa is a very light sleeper so he just didn't want to wake him up and it ended up becoming a habit

I found the video about Seonghwa being sensitive to noise when he sleeps! kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5DGaXWYpb91Zrc They were playing this “is it true” game and Hongjoong teased Seonghwa by saying he’ll go in and out of the room when SH sleeps, and then the caption added that Seonghwa is a light sleeper. So HJ indeed tries not to disturb SH’s sleep when he goes home late. But when other teased him and asked him why he stayed in the living room he just stayed quiet and said it’s comfortable 🥺 our kindhearted leader - Not only was he so accommodating, he was careful not to make it a big deal or make SH feel bad. Coz he knew that if he complained about staying in the living room they’d probably change their dorm assignment which means SH won’t have the comfort of having a quiet room to himself like he does now (or Mingi would lose his single room). He’s such a wonderful soul…I wish he also gets a restful sleep on the sofa 🥹😭
