Hello Mahalakshmi, just a suggestion or tip is that most of the hostel would be with passcode entry, I hope you know by now and few countries may have public Wi-Fi in train or bus stations(keep checking for public Wi-Fi) so you can check for your mails before you reach to hostel as well as maps to lead to hostel. Regarding to waste garbage collection every country has different rules so knowing ahead would be good, garbage is separated with plastic, general waste, papers , tins, glasses in most of the countries and garbage should be environment friendly so it should not be hurting for people you recycle who work there or good for environment and surroundings.
