The Hongqi H9, part of the Hongqi marque and produced by the FAW Group, is a full-size luxury car that offers a blend of sophistication and performance.
Under the hood, the H9 comes with two engine options. The first is a 2.0-liter CA4GC20TD-31 I4 turbo petrol engine, delivering a power output of 185 kW (252 PS; 248 hp). The second option is a 3.0-liter CA6GV30TD-03 V6 supercharged petrol engine, generating an impressive 208 kW (283 PS; 279 hp) of power. Additionally, the H9 features a Belt-Driven Starter Generator electric motor, contributing to its hybrid drivetrain capability (MHEV) in the 2.0T variant.
The transmission system in the Hongqi H9 consists of a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, ensuring smooth and efficient gear shifts. In terms of dimensions, the standard H9 model has a wheelbase of 3,060 mm (120.5 in), while the extended H9+ version boasts a longer wheelbase of 3,290 mm (129.5 in). The length of the H9 is measured at 5,137 mm (202.2 in), while the H9+ stretches further to 5,337 mm (210.1 in). Both variants share a width of 1,904 mm (75.0 in) and a height of 1,493 mm (58.8 in). The curb weight of the H9 ranges from 1,875 kg to 1,995 kg (4,134-4,398 lb), depending on the specific model and equipment. With its powerful engines, hybrid capabilities, and luxurious dimensions, the Hongqi H9 represents a compelling option for those seeking a premium and technologically advanced driving experience.
