The amount of patience these mom's have is insane. Baby monks are by far the most ill behaved babies in the animal kingdom-- they act like straight up crack addicts and their imbalanced codependency + aggressive behavior towards mom when they don't get their way is just mind blowing 🤯. The GOOD moms are the ones that discipline their babies so to understand proper behavior, because their instinctive actions will not only endanger the whole troop(tantrums attracting predators, constant nursing on the ground leaving them vulnerable to predators, etc), but get them killed by other higher ranking adults as well because they are eating out of turn. Rewarding that bad behavior isn't doing their baby ANY favors. I don't know why people can't wrap this around their heads. It is seriously lacking in common sense to reason that anything other than pacifying, coddling, or giving in to the baby's overly dramatic tantrums is what constitutes a "good mother" 🙄 It's quite the opposite!

Daniella never takes no and it shows it. It’s no wonder Dana gave up and allowed the others to try and discipline her. The male that killed her finally ended everyone’s stress of having to constantly trying to beat some sense into her, nothing worked. She even bit Dana and that’s when Dana started getting more frustrated. Weaning Daniella was an impossible situation, Daniella was basically Candy and Sweet Pea rolled up into her.

Daniela is a hell cat because she's trying to have her way. Her mother really didn't want to hurt her and she tried to communicate it to her several times before she really put her foot down. When mom put the smack down on her Daniela looked like a crumpled piece of paper, lol. Ashley came over to quell down the problem and soon realized that Mom was doing the right thing and had everything under control. Daniela knows that she getting to be a big girl and should be doing other things such as playing, climbing, foraging and just be adventurous.

Sherry: In troops there is a hierarchy meaning the monkeys must take their turns eating. Daniela was always eating or getting fed by VOs out of turn. That did not set well with the older monkeys, hence in a matter of seconds, she was gutted and killed by an older male monkey.

On a serious note though they need to do a sterilization program and leave maybe one out of three unfixed. The poor females pregnant all the blasted time. Before they fully raise one they have another swinging off their teats. I wonder if they have changed their mating because they are no longer in their natural environment. Where are their natural predators here? With Covid lockdown tourists weren't around to feed them and they fought each other badly. There doesn't look like there is bananas on the trees or any other fruits. I see leaves and that's it. People feed them milk and other fruits and veggies. The Mom's won't even share food with their Babies and often will hit them bute them and snatch the food away. Not natural environment at all.

Mum is not being abusive. If you know the nature of monkey they tries to correct their babies this way because babies want milk 24/7. Mum also needs to feed herself to provide milk to her baby. She is just limiting her milk, correct the baby and give lesson to baby otherwise baby monkey can be such a brat, always clinging, 24/7 they throws trantrum and wants milk. Look at them baby don't want to go away from breast milk. So, this is the only way mum could teach lesson or correct her kid. The fact is mum loves her kid so much if you try to touch or harm the baby she will attack you instant. But she has to be mum. This is nature. This is good. You go mama, you do what you gotta do.

67 TImes..Dana bites her in the first 7-8 minutes of the video...Mom is NOT trying to wean her. Dani more than likely nurses all night and we see from the videos posted she does during the day also. Mom is trying to set some parameters..she is not physically harming Dani...only hurting her feelings. Lets face it Dana wont ever get the worlds greatest Mom award..but at least instead of leaving her with the rest of the troupe to deal with as she has been doing she is dealing with Dani herself!
