The races aren't limited to animals, monsters and yokai and mystics as well, Hoshiguma is an Oni, Exia is an angel, the horned ones known as Sarkaz are what we'd typically refer to as monsters which include but are not limited to, Demons and their sub classes, imps, devil's, Gargoyles, Vampires and the like, Ch'en is a dragon of eastern decent (Lung),characters like Talulah* and Reed are Dragons of western decent (Draco) Altho Talulah is a special case that's a spoiler I won't be giving out. But yeah every manner of mythical and fantasy creature more or less has a race in Arknights and a culture of some sort associated with them typically.

7:05 for the mafia guys with the crossbows, because smokeless gunpowder doesn't exist in Terra due to the difference in laws of physics, chemistry and logic, People in terra tend to use crossbows, bows, etc. Further improving and making it more deadly, where one Terran crossbow can be as powerful as our Gun's irl. There's even automatic crossbows used by the Columbian police and military. Sankta(Angels) are the only ones with guns and have a monopoly over it. Well, not really the only ones, but "true guns" are usually extremely expensive (both the gun and the ammo) and the only non-sankta character we've seen with one is Jessica (as Andreana's is supposed to be an extremely modified crossbow)

Even a plot point in the Rainbow 6 Siege crossover event, where Rhodes Island realizes they're suddenly sitting on top of the biggest game changer since Originium. Plus the races of Terra are physically stronger than a regular human from our world. A crossbow with a draw of a ton is going to hit quite hard. So while guns are still very powerful, it's not quite as one sided as it is in our world.

@@barcodeverifier9256 Sesa hides it bcos such knowledge would only intensify whatever conflicts that are happening in Terra. this is a world that is defined by originium in pretty much every facet of its life, including warfare with the use of originium arts and tools powered by originium (from the explosives to the simple handguns). then you tell these people that there is a way to explode people without using originium? on one hand you'd be sounding like a madman, but on the other...you'd be their god of war. providing the means to escalate rhe conflict to people previously barred from originium arts or tools (either by talent or money). not to mention how Laterano wouldn't take so kindly seeing outsiders doing the stuff they have been proud of on to the point of monopoly, now without their influence due to those tools not being originium-based. Blacksteel alone is alrdy treading the line by having their ops trained with only handguns, and you're telling this whole country there is now a way to machine gun-down people without their prouded originium ammo? that doesn't sound right. The Law wouldn't accept that!

16:47, the Nine-Colored Deer is an old 90s short film about the titular Nine-Colored Deer. She's a literal god that moved entire mountain ranges in the very first scene of the movie and some idiot decided 'Yep, I can kill that!'. What also weird and funny is that Hypergryph, the company behind Arknights, decided to make a human design of the Deer cause for the entire duration of the movie, she was the deer you see before the transformation.

Nearl Light animated trailer might still be the best one so far. Arknights had 2 concerts called Ambience Synesthesia. Lee is a detective from Lungmen. Ling is one of 12 siblings (Nian & Dusk are her sisters) we get a new one every lunar new year. Unfortunately the are limited. China just got another sibling (the oldest brother) announced. There are always chinesee trailers and character themes w\when the global trailers run out.

He's actually the leader of Penguin Logistics, so boss of Texas, Exusiai and stuff and also a musician/rapper He's not a playable character but he appears in a few event, and even add a temporary game mode for April's Fools called "Loyal to the beat!" if you want to check it out

Emperor, the penguin, is the head of Penguin Logistics, he's voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda, who arguably has the hottest voice among JP vocie actors Edit: Phantom (who is a playable operator) and the Crimson Solitare is a permanent rogue-like game mode where you progress through, you guessed it, theather/opera themed floors. It has amazing music and art. Edit 2: Ling is a summoner operator, she summons dragons and can empower them, she's one of the most broken operators in the game, in fact she can most likely solo 90% of the stages.

I recommend you to listen to "Requiem" after you are done with the PVs. It is played during the main story (without vocals) and is very memorable! All 6-star characters have their own theme but I really recommend Pallas theme. It was one of the featured songs in the collab with Cytus II. As for PVs you have one year worth left of videos if you watch the chinese PVs, which I highly recommend! Love your reactions to Arknights and can't wait for you to watch the rest, especially the lore-heavy ones to come!

I don't normally read things outside academic textbooks, but out of curiosity I read the in game story for Near Light and the hours I spent just reading and piecing the story together is just time well spent. The world building, the interactions between the characters, their motivations and the norms and culture that affects the characters is something that made the entire event worth reading.

Hoshiguma is an Oni, a japanese demon. In the Arknights universe there are not only characters based on animals but also based on angels, demons, mythological creatures and gods. Also, they use crossbows because gunpowder does not exist, and in the crossover with Rainbow Six it is seen that the bullets are not very effective, but the weapons as such do exist but each bullet is like a magic staff so they have to be each made by hand by an arts specialist, and the only ones they give weapons to are the Sankta, also known as angels. Also you still got the Chinese PV's

More info lore, Each race within the game is defined by certain characteristics, such as bears being Ursa, animals of certain categories such as dogs or cats being defined as the same breed, and the most notable are mythological ones, such as dragons, mythological beings such as angels and demons, and even sea people. PS: Amiya is considered a chimera, despite looking like a rabbit or donkey (it has not been confirmed that it is)

They were held in 2021 and 2022 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center and Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena respectively, the second one being livestreamed due to pandemic restrictions.

Interesting fact about the world of arknights firearms work like mage staffs since they dont fire conventional bullets like in our world they run off of originium arts, most people don't use firearms in terra they use crossbows. The sankta (the angle race) is where the majority of of people in terra use firearms, there are exceptions like members of black steel

On Terra or Earth in Arknights, only the Sankta race is allowed to use firearms freely. and yes they are from Laterano or you could say Vatican Arknights. while other races are only allowed to use crossbows, grenade launchers or pistols. If other races used firearms other than that, the Executors would come after them (If I remember correctly, there was a story about Andreana, one of the operators who modified her Crossbow to look like a rifle and the Executors suspected her). because only the Sankta race can legally use firearms, manipulating their firearms into highly effective and lethal weapons.

Hey, just wanted to say, I think you're putting way too much hope on Endfield, it's on very very early stages, and as far as we know it might (?) be on the same Terra, but very much unrelated to AK. I really recommend you to try Arknights instead of waiting for Endfield, even if the Towe Defense aspects don't seem like your usual high octane gameplay, it is a very good game and complements all this art and music very well.

I have no idea what are you on about. I hate playing on phones as it turns them into micro stove/heater. My playtime is 99% PC, it's easy to figure out how to play on pc, it's even (was atleast when i started) on official site. It's also free to play - much like many grind gacha's out there, your success is proportional to time investment and just slightly luck dependent with microtransactions for lazy ass and rich wastefull people.
