And Himeko of course. "stupid people accussing you of stupid things", I'm not sure what you're even referring to here. The only time people accuse you of anything was during the beginning and that was for a very specific reason. As for the "account gating", I really didn't find that to be much of a issue. If you use up your daily energy, do simulated universe, and do your side quests, then you're going to be pretty close to reaching the required level every time you get level blocked.

Knowing YD's game history i knew he was going to be bored the hell out HSR in a day or two. Pvp gachas are what he prefers. Pvp is usually a shit show in gachas but he is a whale so he wants to compete, its simple. YD plays some of the most terrible games in existence like Mu Origin and that ragnarok game he streamed yesterday but even those trash games are pretty fun to watch when its YD streaming. Like i am already invested in the clan wars, his scorpion mount , the top 2 whales he always is pitch against and random lower lvl ppl asking for his help in raids. All in Mu Origin Ppl have diff tastes. I can already see ppl dragging e7, SW, MU to filth coz this videos title. People, just freaking play the game u like. Prob lack of multiplayer pve (i dont like pvp much lol) is also one of my main issues, which present in lot of other turn based prg gachas, Like guild system (guild war or guild raid), world raid boss, coop dungeon etc. I hope mihoyo adding some of those in the future.

Interesting points. Though honestly I haven't played genshin due to potato laptop and not compatible phone. Honestly and I mean thinking about it logically, people shouldn't pay for pulls though. And genshin along with other studies had made psychology trick to make players wanna buy it. It makes them money. It's usually in the moral Greg area but it leans to "If a product is shown to be good, then support is what they wanted". Not to say any gacha has predatory pay to win stuff and psychology tricks along with bad gacha pulls, at the end of the day it's a gacha that's added in the roster of other gachas and neither Honkai or Genshin are bad. No one watches your stream because you appreciate the story. We can tell you've never had the patience to read and immerse yourself in that. They watch your stream for the multiplayer. You're bias is really showing. It's not for everyone. And that's fine. I can respect that. I just don't hold your opinion with any weight when it comes to story-focused games my dude.

You do understand that the cutscenes are not skippable so anyone should expect at least something from the story or storytelling at the very least from such a huge company. The story is just a slugfest. I don't even know their target audience for their story because its fairly cringe for all age ranges.

Came back after seeing Asmon and Tectone react to this vid. This vid has almost a 50-50 in likes to dislikes. Y'all know his takes were terrible. I've been following YD for years as a fellow E7 player. Love his character debut videos. But he was never a story guy. He skips all the lore in E7. Tell me he has any sort of credibility story-wise with that track record.

@@terryhiatus Eh, strongly disagree. All games are not mid. Strong writing and game design should shine through regardless whether it's your taste or not. Example: I can recognize TLOU as a high quality game but, I don't like it. I don't find it's particular story interesting but, it is well made. That's just my taste. RE4 remake is a good game but, I don't like the genre. Again my taste but, on a wider scale due to genre. This game is aggressively average though on all fronts. Story = average, Character design = average, combat = average. etc. People praising it to high heaven and back must not have played any jrpg's in their life if they think this is peak.

People hating because there's only 2 skills? then plays epic 7 with what, a basic skill, 2nd skill or passive, then ult? that's 3. HSR also have a basic skill, 2nd skill, ult, and passive? that's 4, but basic skill in HSR are all just damage with no effects (There maybe some exceptions), but let's just say that's 3 also. Even the artifacts and light cones are techincally the same no? The gears in E7 and relics/orb/rope in HSR, they're both 6 slots no? even the RNG on the substats. Farming for awakenings and traces materials? levels and arti/LC materials??? I play both E7 and HSR, aren't they the same? turn based gacha games? HSR only has the advantage on music and production value, other than that they're technically the same LOL. But I guess to each their own no? well this is just my opinion, so yeah.

Still uses? That’s their game design man lol. They weren’t the ones designing a game in full 3D with voiced cutscenes. Where said cutscenes can have some people’s mouths move and others not. Fans of hsr like to laud how “polished” and “high” quality the game is but to me… it’s budget. Inconsistency within its own cutscenes as well as some scenes you’d think are important just get a 2d image with voice over. Musics alright though. They timed it well to help hook players 😉

Dudes main gripe, the one he mentions the most, is that there's no custom animation of a character walking off a train when you get a 5*? Like, really? when e7, his main games, answer to 5* is "some gold/black glow and a loli in the corner". its asinine, its the type of review where you can tell from the FIRST second that he wanted to dislike the game. e7 can do what they do, but this video was a joke, and i usually love yd's shit

Gacha rates and boring kits are what's making me not play it as much right now. Everyone's basic attack is the same "50% atk to a single target". Then there's the gacha rates that are all ML5 rates, which is insane.

MiHoyo is specializing into capitalizing on a population of a mass of young & loyal players, most from their own country. Full PVE, childish dialogues but very nice packaging. No risks and lasting success. If we want more daring and better games, we must wait a company capable of creating as pretty packaging but with real adult gameplay and mature stories. ATM there's no one and it's crazy.
