lol this was the song that put me and 3 other ppl into the story... I loved the suprised faces on those kids when i poped up out of my 'egg' (I was 1st to hatch) and then I'd waddle around the stage as the others hatched. such a wonderful experience it was doing this musical even if I had such a small part it was exciting and fun

fawn east omilord it was so hard because it was my first lead but my strategy was to learn a few pages by a few pages and know what line you come after. It was really challenging but it really helps to have some someone to practice with!

My director gave me a bit more of a purpose, with more lines and solos, and putting me in this song (my director did some really weird things, like change the beginning solo to be sung by ida, and since ugly was a girl, we changed the entire Penny and Ugly thing to a friendship) This was a pretty big step up for me, as before, I was always put in the ensemble. Really miss this play :(.
