How epic are bagpipes William Millin was a 21 year old Piper who in accordance to clan (Scottish) law and his lords orders. Went into battle in full dress kilt armed only with his bagpipes (which are the only instrument classified as a weapon of war) and his sock knife. Sounds good right. He did this during WWII on sword beach. That's right this guy was one of the first people off the landing craft and played his bagpipes in the middle of one of the worst battles of WWII. So ya anything with bagpipes is going to be epic
