You make vivo look bad. Because you shot 16/9 = 2304*4096 3MB ..you didn't shoot 4/3 = 3072*4096 6MB .. I suggest you make another comparison video clip.

Well, yeah, it's not ideal - but you only lose the top and bottom of the frame, so the data in the centre is just as valuable for comparisons. Besides, the Vivo did very well, it was more detailed in most situations.

@@f50koenigg I don't and I won't. Dxomark guys just love "their brands", so it's ridiculously obvious, they will worship their favourite brands. Anyway. Honor is not even as good as they scored him, so... yeah... Vivo X100 Pro is just much better.

@@CallumBlue88 Lets just wait for Honor's next camera update. This is a brand new phone on the market only a month. Vivo already has 2 updates for their cameras. I'm pretty sure that Honor is watching with all reviews of their camera so they can see what they can fix. I think Honor sent a more polished magic 6 pro to Dxomark for review because in their test, the honor is taking more of a natural look photos while on the reviews from youtubers it's over saturated, over exposed, taking less details on zoom shots. We just have to wait for the next update before we can really give it a verdict.

@@ehaburg7912 разблокировка по лицу отличная, в 99 процентах пользуюсь ей, все моментально происходит. По размеру X100 Pro уже Samsung S23 Ultra, удобнее хват, но дисплей меньше (контент на Samsung удобнее потреблять из-за широкого экрана). В целом все удобно.

The problem is the Vivo isn't really global since most global carriers aren't selling it. 😒 Anyway, so strange how in some parts of a picture the honor does better and some the Vivo. It's so weird. The same picture will have better parts in each as if they each prioritize something different in each.

Hi. Carriers not selling them because company had issue with pattern license but Vivo did separate Launch for global version this year since the X100 series came out end of 2023.

I think this video tells us more about knowing how to use the photo app from these phones and understanding their core settings than the actual phone camera functionality. Which isn't bad in itself, everyone should be able to get the best of their phone without much tinkering.

I think that camera is better on Vivo, OS - Vivo, speakers - Honor, battery-Honor, for the display I'm not sure, but it's amazing on Vivo, one of the best, so most likely Vivo. I personally bought Vivo x100 Ultra for the purpose of photography, the only thing I'm no really satisfied is the mediocre speakers, but you can always buy external speakers unlike camera. So it comes down to personal choice, but when it comes to zoom, night photography and photography in general, Vivo seems to be the better choice, possibly even the best.

​@@PatrickWithCameraIt's not like that. Global version supports B20, eSIM and all google services and comes with FunTouch OS. B20 is not GSM band, it's LTE band, it depends on a country how B20 is utilized and if it is, B20 is low frequency band to cover rural areas with somewhat usable signal, but overall it's the worst LTE you can get. Banking also works on global version and android car does, as well. You need to do better research next time. There is no Vivo in my country, either. It's not a problem, because you can just purchase global version and that's it. A few places like WondaMobile offers it. It's way more expensive than Chinese version, obviously, but nothing stops you from doing so. I'm doing the same, but I'll be buying one when I'll be traveling to Asia in a few weeks because it's way cheaper than buying global version online.

So poor detail on honor zoom. I consider to buy this honor, because i like how it looks like and it's similiar to my Huawei P40 pro, similiar OS, 3d face unlock, nice battery, main cam, have global version and android auto that i want and i tgink snap dragon will be better choice for emulation whan Vivo's dimensity.. But i might be disappointed whith that camera, especially zoom, i like details in zoom, not brush paintings..

It has gotten better but still too much AI sharpening for my taste. I'm daily driving the Honor Magic 6 RSR at the moment, it might not be my favourite camera but it's one of my favourite phones!

This is the thing we hate about these high end good camera claimed chinese phones. Theu are inconsistent but at the same time they gove great rear cameras with lots of capabilities but suddenly just ignores the front camera quality, just puts in a 10 to 16 megapixel camera that takes washed out, zero hdr photos and with only 1080 video capture. Why china why?? However the night video on Vivo is good, no jerkiness no motion blurr even though there's slight hilight blowing out, thats not much. And the fron video at night is still good with vivo even with only Fhd quality.

Remember that with the honor even though it is 2.5x it is 180mp so 10x is basically lossless zoom but the software needs some updating on the zoom lens.

180 MP doesn't means 10x lossless zoom and wasn't even published that way. Honor at 10x zoom, is like my Huawei Mate40 Pro which is 4yrs old and has actual 5x optical and 7x lossless zoom. In normal video mode with 1080 60 Fps and 4k 60Fps max zooms it's nice and clear. not much difference in quality on Mate40 Pro between 1080 p or 4k, colors nice and sharp, dynamic range good too. I mean higher MP ( numbers ) doesn't means higher lossless zoom, neither better qulity. Higher number doesn't means better or more zoom.

@@g_ravasz It's if you work it out based on the sensor size and aperture. You can calculate it to be 10x because you can zoom to 10x and still get a normal 12mp image just as it is at 2.5x. Not really lossless but actually usable. However, Honor's processing needs to change for the zoom lens. I know MP count doesn't mean better or clearer images. Where honor isn't getting it right is in the processing. I saw a video where a guy was recording the phones with another camera showing what you would see on the screen between a Vivo X100 Pro and the Honor Magic 6 Pro. When zoomed in on the view finder, the Honor looked just about the same, but then after taking the photo, you see immediately how the honor smoothed out everything to make it oil painting like whereas the Vivo corrected it to look clearer. Honor needs to fix the post processing. I do feel however that honor shouldn't have gone this route. I feel like my 4 year old Huawei P40 Pro may take better zoom shots.

You have struggled to make vivo look as good as possible, as others have done, but I have seen real videos where power is seen, if you focus on vivo light and with honor focus other places, clearly it will not turn out well. As for zoom, you can't compare the largest telephoto camera with the most mpx. Besides what you tried, wait for the update, those guys from dxomark are not stupid, they know why they put honor first. I also hold honor and I have seen reality
