the face id is better than apple's since it uses a real TOF scanner to scan ur face in details

I'm on the same boat and I will wait for the 7 pro just cause it looks nicer and the screen is "flat". As for the Face unlock it is on the same level of Apple's, it works in every light condition (so even in a completely dark room) and you can use it for app authentication like banking apps and so on. Apple does have a patented Face ID, but it isn't better than this, ofc this one isn't better than theirs either.

@@daidalos1508 Yeah but why does 8k matter? Do you have an 8k TV? do you have the storage for the ginormous files? It's pointless and nobody use's it. I recently swapped from an S22 ultra to a Magic 6 Pro and I won't be looking back.

@@TTG2025 this is Apple mindset for real. 8k downscaled on 4k looks better than native due to higher Bitrate. Also adding that feature should be very easy nowadays. If the hardware is capable then they should add it. Now it looks like a midrange phone
