I find it, like many others, genuinely difficult to choose between the Fold 6 and the V3. I’m coming from an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the size of the iPhone bothers me as I don’t have large hands, but I don’t want to give up a larger smartphone display. That’s why the Fold 6 is quite appealing to me. After some analysis, I came up with the following comparison. The advantages of one device are often significant disadvantages of the competitor. It really comes down to which pros and cons matter more to you personally, in terms of which device would make you happier in the end. Samsung +Better-tuned camera photos +Longer-lasting battery despite technically smaller size +Better gaming performance despite using the same Snapdragon, but running about 4°C cooler at max temperature +The display dims less frequently under warm sunlight +Significantly better speakers (Especially important since, in my opinion, a tablet shouldn’t sound bad if you use it consistently) +More refined software features -Unfortunately, a more reflective screen -A significantly more noticeable crease -Worse low-light and zoom camera performance -Slower charging -Worse water resistance Honor +Thinner, but only without considering the camera bump +Less noticeable crease +Less reflective screen indoors +Faster-charging battery +Better water resistance +Super-fast charging -Photos often look strangely filtered/processed -Phone gets very hot under full load -Average gaming performance for the Gen 3 -Better display brightness, but barely visible outdoors and dims quickly under heat -Very disappointing speakers due to the thin design (Especially noticeable when coming from an iPhone Pro Max, which sounds even better than a Samsung S24 Ultra) -Somewhat uninspired and heavily Apple-inspired software Personal Preferences Slim vs. wider design Squared vs. rounded corners Feel free to share your thoughts! :)

As S24 Ultra owner, better speaker on Samsung device? Nah, not really. Samsung has always tuned their phones' speakers poorly so it has non-existant sub-low bass and too much emphasized highs in result. But can be improved with EQ because the speaker "itself" is very good even above Apple. Also, samsung has less size of vapor chamber and stupid game optimization system called "GOS". Higher gpu clock doesn't mean everything.

Go to near Samsung or Apple market rn, and compare between these phones by turning volume to max and listening to any songs. You will notice differences, the obsession about mid-high emphasis by Samsung. They are doing nonsence even they bought whole Harman and ruined AKG.

I switch to OnePlus open from 13 pro Max...and very happy....I was confused between fold 5 and open...fold has bad crease quality and also not reliable that's why I choose open. I also have note 20 ultra as secondary phone

Hauwei did an outward folding phone Mate XS in 2020, it's 11mm, no gap while the Z fold 2 had a Huge gap and was about 16mm. Honor took that design as well. They really laid a great foundation with HONOR, wouldn't say they used to be a sub brand.

Just had mine, went from iPhone, Samsung Note 20 Ultra, Pixel fold, s24 and now honor V3. In UK, no charger but you do get a case and I'm very impressed so far, battery life incredible and screen lovely. I still had my s24 ultra as did O2 switch up, even both phones in case folded.... Just as thin as s24 ultra and super slim unfolded. Basically thickness of USBC. Can't wait to see where they're next phones go. Still prefer oneUI in Samsung but only miss DEX, nothing else. Can't get IR blaster to work either yet 👍 free case works really well as stand

V3 has wireless charging. Other than that they're pretty much identical from the phone design to power and screen capabilities. I am personally going for OP Open Apex now that it's on discounted prices. I do wish it had wireless but I don't really use it much anyway so it's all good.

Tim, removing the screen protector is so cringey. There are so few people now doing that precisely because we all know that it is there to protect the phone. So why remove it even for the sake of making this video? For me, removing it at the unboxing dis-HONOR (brand promotion intended) the engineering and production teams for their efforts.
