Honor Magic5 Pro in 2024 - 1 year later is it any good?

MagicOS 8 came out a couple of days ago. Fixing some issues. Movie mode is the best thing here. Best video quality and colours you can get out of this one.

All the disadvantages you have listed are extremely subjective. Double Tap, slide down, google keyboard... It's not serious. Magic 4 pro is still VERY good device for every day. 5 pro will be nice choice at last for two next years

He surely don't have enough knowledge about phone settings.. Cz I have a phone of 5 years ago.. It has double tap option.. Also slide bar

1:56 Dude you can just enable it by going to settings > system & updates > system navigation > gestures settings and choose "show navigation bar" then enable it

Agree 100%. Hoping for something to be better than my legendary p30 pro, but mostly disappointing. Camera reality is not as fantastic as some people say and night shots, portrait cut-outs and zoom is a joke, even at 10 times.

Those camera samples are certainly not the best but they're really not that bad If you rated this at 6 I wonder where you'd put midrangers and budget phones

Its been almost 8 months im using this phone,i can say its perfect phone battery life is great very smooth its perfect for me ,,BTW I'm very heavy mobile user my average screen on time os almost 12 hr's so .

I'm using this phone last 7 months. Nice phone. All departments are nice. But some times i open the camera then the phone start to slow. I dont know why. I'm using 12 gb ram version. But nice phone except this one.

Molim te za informacije, jer se dvoumim izmedju Pixel 7 Pro (pomenut u videu) i Magic 5 Pro...zanima me koja je bolja kamera i ekran, da li je baterija na Pixelu ocajna? Da li je Pixel bolji od Honora

I ja se dvoumim izmedju ta dva modela, i ne znam sta je pametniji izbor. Pixel ima malo bolju kameru po mom ukusu, ne izbeljuje toliko nego daje realniju sliku, a opet Honor je bolji sto se tice baterije i memorijskog prostora. Takodje meni je subjektivno dizajn bolji na honoru. E sad idealno ne postoji za ove pare ocigledno.

@@88pleca Ja sam u medjuvremenu kupio Pixel 7 Pro ali nov i mogu reci da mi 100% baterije, sa 120hz i QHD rezolucijom drzi oko 8 sati screen on time. Ja bas urnisem telefon i traje mi ceo dan. Desi se da zaista koristim normalno telefon i traje mi od ponedeljka ujutru do utorka u 19h bez problema. Sto se mene tice potpuna preporuka za Pixel, samo treba ugasiti ultra HDR jer u tamnijim prostorijama pravi uzasne slike, i prednja kamera je zaista uzasna. Sve ostalo na telefonu je predobro

Go for the honor, it's rated more better than the pixel 7 pro, plus the pixel battery is horrible and it heats up very easily Even if you're just doing Normal tasks like using chrome or Instagram or tiktok it gets very hot so can you imagine how hot it will be When using the camera? I'm telling you all this because i owned a pixel 8 pro And return it back Because it's horrible it's not a flagship at all, I hope you go for the honor if you want go be satisfied!

@@MotoGP_Fan Maybe yours does hold up for two days but you probably barely use it to stay for that long without charging it. the battery only scored 83 hours in the endurance rating which is very poor for light users and especially heavy users ✌️

my magic5 pro randomly restarts when i play games...and thise are not even high performance games. And another thing is that my wifi disconnects when i get a call...i dont know if its a setting issue or a defect on the phone... I will never buy a Honor/Huawei phone ever again.

Very late update to Android 14: right Everything else: rubbish and/or subjective If you don't know how this phone got that score on DXO Mark then it is clear you have very little knowledge about photography in general and phone photography in particular.
