Still laggy experience when 120Hz is turned on and videos are played back. Honor seems to have a driver issue since the start of this device and did not fix it. If you do not watch videos a great device.

Videos have always played back perfectly on my Honor Magic5 Pro. Before and after the latest update. If you are talking about it being glitchy scrolling on KZbin. Loads of smartphones are the same. That's more a Google KZbin app problem! Latest Honor Magic5 Pro software update and KZbin app update seem to have fixed that problem. Ps. I enjoy your smartphone camera comparisons keep them coming 👌🏾

@@C--A Nope its not only KZbin Odysee, Newpipe and others have a stuttery playback aswell as instagram and some others with embedded players. Its a driver issue as it affects all apps that don't play window in fullscreen. Fullscreen is ok and KZbin seems to be fixed for youtube specific as they jump into a different mode there. KZbin with Revanced patches for example (different app package id) stutters

I have recently bought the purple color Honor Magic 5 pro running on Magic OS 7.1 I have experienced several issues that are really bugging me... 1. I am experiencing very low volume on my Bluetooth headphone with this phone. I previously own a OnePlus Nord. Put them on a test with my Sony headphones, and I had to level up my volume to 100% in Honor Magic 5 pro, to reproduce the same loudness of OnePlus Nord at 50%... 2. KZbin app seem to not be able to 'hold' my video when i switch app. Say I am watching a video on youtube, and I went on to reply a message in whatsapp or even browse something in chrome (basically switching any other apps), when i am back in youtube.. i was brought back search result page. No more video, not even in the minimized form. Anyone experience these two issues? Kindly advice. Thank you

Update: the KZbin issue is resolved after the latest update. Most likely it's just a bug.

On top of that the camera app is very laggy and not smooth , and if you connect to car Bluetooth it will discount, the Chinese rom has non of the bugs we have but it will not work google play, my guess we should try Vivo x90 pro plus next time

In the end most of user will slaps any phone cases anyway, and not many people use transparent case

@@joelconolly5574 Spigen or Ringke actually have pretty good case that using anti-yellowing material, but their price not that cheap, I can get better looking leather case with same or even cheaper than Spigen/Ringke from China with more premium look & feel nice to hold in my hands

The depth is actually fairly slim. Feels more so as the back curves towards the frame. And one of the highest screen to body ratio means the Honor 6.8 inch Magic5 Pro is actually not as tall as quite a few 6.7 inch smartphones!
