This is what happens when something authentic becomes commercialised. Nothing about the interaction between the characters reflected a real African OR Caribbean family in the UK. Kayode Ewumi is a very talented, very clearly Nigerian actor and he should have played on this if he was going to introduce a family. It would have been a lot funnier if his family were clearly African and had a problem with him referring to himself as R.S or Reese for example. The script literally could have written itself. Instead this... disappointing. The other actors didn't come across at all genuine and instead made the 'hood documentary' look WAY too staged.
