Thanks for that. I've just bought the PDF, but I have a question about your mattress stitch. So far, when I mattress stitch two pieces together, I make sure the Vs on each side are pointing the same way, but when you mattress stitch the long sides of your two long tubes together, your bottom tube Vs are This way < and your top tube Vs are this way. > Does it make a difference to the end look? Thanks for your tim :)

@@susansays5627 Thanks so much for your question. I personally think when mattress stitching tubes matching the V's is not as necessary. However perhaps with a more complicated knitting pattern it might make a difference. Its definetly a good habbit to have!

@@LanaLoux Thank you very much - I'm pleased to know this, as sometimes, when I've closed my tubes up, and lined the edges up, the closest edge has the Vs pointing the other way - I'm so pleased that it doesn't matter so much in tubes or stocking stitch :)

What kind of yarn did you use?
@LanaLouxАй бұрын
8ply Acrylic yarn. I'm unsure of the exact brand I'm using as i often buy mill ends which are cheaper.

Why do you need waste yarn?
@LanaLouxАй бұрын
@amandasimpson3157 Waste yarn helps to create a nice finish on the edges. Also, the first 5-10 rows on a machine dont have great tension. So the waste yarn makes sure those rows aren't on your final project. :)
