Right! The hip hop game has got boring and a heavy majority of modern pop music is recycled trash. But the combination is looking like a nice move for Hoodie even. And i'm really diggin' it.

Damn.. I really really miss these days. Even when I buy my first Porsche, I know looking back on these days will still hold such great memories and significance. 26 years old now, was 13 when I was hearing this. The Call of Duty scene back then (MW2 mainly) was HUGE. Bigger than any of that Fortnite stuff, and so was the culture. Montages released on a almost daily by a wide variety of top TS clans. Hoodie Allen, E Dubble (RIP), Logic, Dizzy Wright etc were put on cause editors and the viewers loved this music in combination with the COD clips. Good memories.

I know you'll probably never see this comment but my lab partner graduated from UPenn with you and remembers you. Just knowing the dynamic of being a rapper at an Ivy, the similar struggles from relationships to classes, and developing as a person really hit home. I remember running to this song when we first got together. I followed riverside park all the way down to 1st street . Every time I made the trek from Columbia to downtown I would think of her, with Brooklyn in sight. We'd fight when I get back from my run, breakup, and get back together. It was such an unhealthy cycle. But this song still gives me goosebumps in letting go of "what could have been". I love your new album but this song is special, from the depiction of your apartment, to your girlfriend, her caressing your neck, to sitting hopeless in the laundromat; it's all just so eerie, familiar, and depressing, but at the same time plants a seed of hope; if you can become a successful artist with your trials and tribulations perhaps others can too.

*They be here for a minute, now they’re gone in week..* Sadly true. Appreciate all the good people you met in your life and the experiences you had with that person because you never know when it will all come to an end.

But you all know, if we were to go back im time an re-live that stuff, it still wouldnt be the same no more. I think its better to keep those memories :) I'm 24 now, so i fit into that era. And sometimes i honestly feel really nostalgic and also a bit sad. But time goes on. I mean, who know what we are saying about this exact moment 10 years later? Maybe even this time were in right now will be missed. We all evolve and nothing lasts forever ❤️

Here towards the end of 2019. First heard this back in 9th grade. Damn.. This was also my favorite time on KZbin: -KZbin suggestions were on point - the OG KZbinrs we're still going at it (Smosh, Epic Meal time, also around the time Pewdiepie started to be the talk of the town (add more)) - also around the time I started to become more self aware which was a blessing and a curse

[Hook] And we should take a walk someday, dream about what we could've been But, I don't wanna leave this place, there's no faith in Brooklyn But, if I move out one day, it will make me a better man But, I don't wanna leave this place There's no faith in Brooklyn [Verse 1] I said I'm so gone, oh my god, where the menu? Order me all the sushi for them bitches at the venue Stop, drop, roll, continue Cause they just try to mingle, and I'm just trying to sing you a song I tell ya that I'm leavin' but I won't be long If it was up to me I would see ya tomorrow But talk's cheap so I'm paying up And new kicks be the only way I'm laying up So maybe I won't make it as a athlete But that don't mean I'll let the competition pass me I money ball, Billy Beane and some skinny jeans And the whole damn team just some mini me's Cause they ain't seen another kid like this It's on your mind baby you should probably write this I told her I can dance good for a white kid So turn around, show me everything I might miss [Hook] We should take a walk someday Dream about what we could've been But, I don't wanna leave this place There's no faith in Brooklyn, no If I move out one day It will make me a better man But, I don't wanna leave this place No faith in Brooklyn [Verse 2] I said repetition-repe-repetition, like a muscle man You just wanna tie me up and snap me like a rubber band It's 2012 and now they wanna ask me what's the plan I tell 'em never trust a man unless he Russell Brand So pass me on that Absinthe now watch me change my accent I got girls in the back on a mattress You got girls on the map, like, that's it They wanna know, am I Jay Sean or Raekwon? Good Sean, or great Shawn? Stay long, or Kreayshawn? Now, either way, they try to stifle your dreams I tell 'em keep your eyes open, you won't like what you see And they be here for a minute, and now they gone in a week You tryna Dante the peak, I'm tryna Andre the beat, Lord And can you tell me where my faith is? I graduated and I still ain't made the A-List It ain't a problem if you tell me how you feel girl I know the road rules, but you need the real world [Hook] And we should take a walk someday Dream about what we could've been But, I don't wanna leave this place There's no faith in Brooklyn, no So if I move out one day It will make me a better man But, I don't wanna leave this place There's no faith in Brooklyn [Outro] (No faith in Brooklyn)
