Man it spooked me so hard that afterwards I was dying laughing through my snorkel in the water and even when I got on the boat!

Hey Jack, I have been spearfishing in the Bahamas for a Looooong time and I wonder why you bleed your fish in the water? We always let the guy in the boat bleed them in a bucket. Sharks are bad enough over there without firing them up by putting a bunch of blood in the water. There are spots off of Grand that if you do that you will have twenty bull sharks all over you!

It’s funny you mention this. Drives me nuts when I dive with people who do this.

Nice one Jack and pirate crew. I might gamble on the low cost rod and reel. Might also look for used first but interesed. Great dive shots and spearing. Sharks around but you nicely avoided problems. I'll skip the camping but eat any leftovers. Might arrive in a year or 5. Stay safe and well guys. Look forward to the next vid.

Thanks don! I love sharing as always! That meal was crazy good no way will there be left overs with a hungry crew like that. LOL

Ok Jack, it's a bit rude, I'm only a couple thousand miles away. But having a magnanimous nature, I'll forgive. But, one more disconcerting problem ... did I hear you talking about Head Hunting with a spear?! I'll have to think about that one, I have a mean side myself but .... Ok, didn't unsubscribe. Stay safe and well all of you.

@dongaetano3687 so the brand of pole spear I'm using is called a Nomad and its made by the brand Headhunter Spearfishing. The top polespear I my opinion! You could try that fish on the fire where you're at!

@@CaptainJackSpearo Wheeew, I'm releaved to know your not collecting human heads! I definitely trust your judgement on equipment. Wii pass this on to the young guys I met and maybe to an old friend who is 6' - 5" and doing scuba with his daughter. They are both heavy duty athletes, he having slowed down some in his mid-fifties. The daughter is being scouted for crew in her jr year of High School by D1 colleges. So my friend at 6'5" and his wife at 6'0" gave the daughter in genetics, no where to go but UP and she's a fierce competitor. I think they'll enjoy your vids. Thanks for the dialogue and fun. Merry Christmas to you and the Pirate crew.

Top of the day, don't know why everyone doesn't understand a simple process lemon or lime before seasoning the 🐟🐠 first marinate ok😂😅😊😄🤣🤔👍
@CaptainJackSpearo Жыл бұрын
So you put lemon or lime juice on the fish before the seasoning I kind of like that idea and I'm definitely going to have to try it next time!👍👍

Great video and guys, brother. Could you guys give a heads up on where to surf fish from the grand bahamas? I've never been there any advise is greatly appreciated.
@CaptainJackSpearo Жыл бұрын
Honestly you'd probably be successful along any beach. Ad long you find bait there there's probably bigger fish cruising around

Great vid Capt Jack! How long is the rubber band on that spear? I have an 8 ft spear with a warhead penetrator making it almost 9 ft but the band is only 30 inches long. Feels like it needs to be much longer. Newbie to the long pole.

How long was the boat ride to the Bahamas?
@CaptainJackSpearo5 ай бұрын
@@jowhi9296 usually takes btw 2-4 hours. Really depends on where ur going to and where ur coming from
@jowhi92965 ай бұрын
That's so awesome! What do you suggest for length of the band on pole spears? Obviously it's different per length. But like on a 7' headhunter. @@CaptainJackSpearo

Can people from the Bahamas just pull up in Florida and start camping and fishing?
@CaptainJackSpearo Жыл бұрын
Of course they can! Why wouldn't they be able to?
@DeranThompsonJr Жыл бұрын
@@CaptainJackSpearo they can but they have to report to customs and immigration. Even so, I'm sure it's not going to be unsupervised in "the middle of nowhere". I guess I can see why the Bahamas is your favorite place in the world. Your welcome man, enjoy.
