Rozh Shamal was right at the gate of his home when he was shot dead by a perpetrator who fled on a moped after the murder. According to the verdict, he was shot seven times, in the head, torso and thighs, and died on the spot. His dog was also shot in connection with the walk. So Rozh had good relations with Yasin Byn who is part of the nationally known network Shottaz. Rozh and Yasin had done songs together but the songs are unreleased. The perpetrator who killed Rozh is from Yasin Byn(Village)/Yasin The Don rival gang "Death Patrol"(Dödspatrullen). He is now in prison.
