I'm 35 years old, black, and I was raised in a lower-middle class neighborhood with both parents in my life. I didn't grow up in the hood but I LOVE going to the hood. Folks that grew up on the block with history got some of the best stories, the best street knowledge, and the positive energy high (no pun). Don't get me wrong, I still pack the toolie going to the hood because you really do gotta be prepared and alert. Nonetheless, it's fun. The best food. It's a good time honestly, especially in the summer

This dude seems like he's trying to uplift his community. Crime DOES NOT pay in the long run and understand there are powers in numbers. Support your people who are trying to uplift themselves and their communities legally and abolish the bullish around your way. Enough of the killings, robbing and incarceration in your neighborhood. If you don't, it limits the number of outsiders that will spend money to businessses in your community due to the likelyhoood of being robbed and whatnot. Adapt, overcome and support the good people in your neighborhood and watch the numbers of people that prosper grow LEGALLY and have steady cashflow without having to worry about multiple avenues of repercussions. This, in turn, brings less stress, a positive mind, a better visualization to your future, the pride of self sufficiency and much more. There are too many people getting killed, robbed, and incarcerated in the hood. This community damaging ish is continues to be glorified and this results in being stuck in the SAME cycle until the communityput a halt to tolerating it. Why do 95% of these rappers not live the life they are rapping about? Because you are secretly their pray. You are their cash flow and that's why they keep YOU down by reciting that shit while they do NOT participate in the shit themselves. Why you ask? BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK MEAN SUCCESS IN THE LONG RUN! They wouldn't be able to live their lavish lives by participating in the same shit they rap about. But, they want you to think that's how they got to where they are at. But it is simply not true and they glorify this ish and go back to the multi-million dollar mansions after they get done talkin about robbing/killing people in their own communities. Legit is disgusting and detremental. A thief is a coward and should NOT be tolerated if that victim is a civilian. It ain't "Cool" or "Gangster" to be a criminal no matter how much it's glorified because the satisfaction is always temporary and repercussions can be forever and it might be waiting for you around the next corner. A thief is a coward who can't get his own so everything he steals is for temporary satisfaction without a long term plan because they're bums. A thief is a stupid, non-critical thinking, bitch, straight up. Until this is checked, and these bum ass dudes are outed and dealt with, the same shit will happen for generations. However, this dude seems like he has the right ideas and loves his community and this has come through experiences which results in his wisdom. You should support good people in the community, especially when they are local business owners. They will employ the community and show the way if they are successful by legit means if you're lucky enough for them to show you. These people should be looked at as pioneers and innovators in the community who had the balls to go a different path and show that the path they went can keep you out of a life of crime, paranoia, sadness and a casket as a victim. They should be protected AT ALL COSTS and be wlecomed in the community. This should be put on full display for the community that shows that pioneers and innovators of the community WILL be protected and will have a clear, safe path to success in their communities. If criminals infridge on their business and attempt to extort or rob them they NEED to be dealt with and ousted. UPLIFT for your future and show a side of life that is possible other than these fake rappers telling stories that have nothing to do with them for their own selves and the continued negative influence in YOUR community as they rest their heads in the Hollywood Hills while you deal with the repercussions of the easily influenced children without any guidence other than what they are hearing through the speakers of their earbuds. He loves his community and knows the good and bad, the ins and the outs. He even states how he respects his elders. With age comes wisdom and he knows that. There are too many talented people out in the streets that can truly hustle. Now take that hustle to a legal route and watch how many can rise up and show others the way. Respect and continue to uplife my man. Lead!

The Sale of Crenshaw Mall and Leimert Park is horrible. The state needs to step into that and not allow a historical landmark of the black community of Los Angeles to be purchased in order to push the current black community out. This dude did a similar hood vlog years ago, I remember him. It was before Nip got assassinated. He hasn't changed much still well spoken, holding down the set.

the crenshaw thing is bigger than what yall realize the entire area is being readied for the Olympics. The entire area from the jungles to the coliseum will be changed. the reason they refused the bids is that back room negotiations and deals have already been done. people selling will have their backs scratched by the buyers. meaning they already had a buyer in mind that would give some kind of kickbacks or incentives.
