As we continue to pave the "Road to Calgary", we are excited to share with you this instructional video featuring Grant Moon. Grant gives us a close-up look at forging a 3/4 fullered 3/8" x 3/4" straight bar shoe. This is one of three shoes in the bar shoe eliminator class the the WCBC in Calgary this year. This is an eagle eye class which means the competitor has ten seconds to look at the foot and then forge this shoe and the closest one that fits wins. This shoe has to be made in a 15 minutes and you are competing against just one competitor in your bracket. The class is a single elimination tournament style set up and your focus is not to have to best shoe just a better shoe than the person you have drawn. Could be some of the most exciting competition to watch.
