World Championship Blacksmiths Craig Trnka, CJF - Masselotte Quarter Clipped Hind

World Championship Blacksmiths 2018 season is in full swing. Virginia State Fair is the fourth stop for the WCB crew. The judge for Virginia this year is Michael Kukkonen from Skive, Denmark. In this video Craig walks you through a step by step process in making a quarter clipped masselotte hind shoe. The shoe will be made out of 11 3/4" x 5/16" x 1 1/4". The specimen measures 5 1/2" wide x 6 1/4" long. It is punched for 6 concave 4 nails. The contest will be October 5-7, 2018.
