Gave up at chapter 6, spoiler alert I am fed up with toxic characters, he treats women as a mean to an end for his own gain, he doesn't respect women and a line in chapter 6 really annoyed me, he follows the female lead home to make sure she gets home safe because he doesn't want anyone "damaged" not even if temporary like if something were to happen to her she would be tarnished beyond repair and not worthy anymore??? No way he can redeem himself snd this turning into a romance

Same with me. There was also no build up, no charisma no witt. His only attribute was "he looks good in a 3 piece suit. The female lead just stupid and annoying. The smut was just blant descriptions of very ordinary corn scenes. Couldn't care to read to the end and was not entertained.
