This is the perfect way to fill gaps in your garden for a long season of continual blooms. They have a new selection of evergreens, shrubs, and perennials. And, all the fall planted spring blooming bulbs are in. They have an amazing selection of fall bulbs. Unique and different varieties than what I have seen in the past. My Home Depot has NONE of these plants. For the life of me I do not understand why our Home Depot has devoted a good 65% of their garden department to tropicals. This is Virginia, zone 7b. I don’t get it. This HD in Massachusetts is amazing!

I love coneflowers too! We had a ground hog living under our ramp/deck, he made sure that I never had them long. He has moved out this year (new porch) and I thought I could finally have coneflowers. Turns out I get frequent visits from the ground hog. No coneflowers left! I will keep trying though!

I just was there and bought the Gladiator Allium bulbs 3 for 9.98, but when I opened them, there were 12 bulbs. So, either they marked the bag wrong, or I hit the jackpot! I guess I will find out next year lol

I wish I live near you. Join the same garden club, sharing plants and also actually having a HD and lowes with the same amount of plants. Our HD this year seems very low inventory. They didnt even any PW bulbs at all this year. I was looking for those summer ones.

Hi Michelle! I didn't grab anything this trip, but made a mental note of some bulbs I will want to grab. I usually wait it out to see if they go on sale closer to end of October when I'm ready to plant them. Also, I have quite a plant stash at home in "Steph's home nursery", that I've accumulated all season that I've been working on planting 🌱

Hi there! If you find a local farm, often times they sell large pumpkins and for a bit less. I purchased some beautiful ones at a nearby farm last fall for $5/ea they had both white and orange. At the end of the season we set them out in the woods behind our yard for the deer.🎃

Friend I was really surprised you stated you didnt like the odor of paperwhites....Hyacinths have a very similar odor....I dont mind either but typically people who dont like 1 dont like the other either. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just went to mine looking for that football pot. Homecoming tonight these would have been perfect. But my store was beyond sad. Dry mums, workers on their phones and no special pots. I give up on my home Depot

Which bulbs? Its also possible that critters get to them. Squirrels love to dig up the bulbs.

I agree, we are very lucky to have a couple of great home depot's in our area. There inventory is always great, and always seasonally appropriate bringing in the right plants for the right time of year. I'm sorry yours isn't better. I hope it improves. Perhaps asking the dept manager about some plants you might be interested in could prompt them to bring in other selections. Thanks for watching 🌱
