Since so many of asked for more information on delivering School Buses, I've decided to make a few more videos about the subject. In this video, I'll show you my process for hooking up my frame rail hitch (sometimes called a pinch hitch) to a school bus. I'll also show you how I connect my car to the school bus. Not everyone in driveaway will deliver buses, but they can help you connect the dots and get you to your next delivery.

I’d love to see a more detailed video on that wiring you made. I’m converting an old school bus into a camper to move my family across country and I need a simple and quick way to tow our car with us.

I'll see what I can do. Maybe a short, because it's a simple harness.

Pretty sure that was the bus next to me. Wind was out of the North anyway, no fumes to inhale. But thanks for the concern!

Hello. Thanks for this video. Can you make a video showing how to connect the lights in more detail?

I doubt it. I don't work for the company that does school busses any longer. I haven't moved on in about a year or so. Did you check out the school bus video by Pro DriveAway Man? I think he has some detail in his.

Looks good. I liked the camera angles. Better than my video.

I was trying to find an angle where the wind didn't screw with the sound so bad, but dangit man, it was blowing so hard! Thanks for the comment, I appreciate you and your channel!

They do use some type of undercoating but I'm not sure what it is.

Good morning Don. I'm an OTR driver switching to driveaway. I have the frame rail hitch from Tier 1, which is badass. Do you have multiple setups or will that hitch work in every application. Also, which lighting adapters do you carry? Thanks for the help. Great videos! Mb

I do have several different types of hitches. I have the pancake hitch and the diamond hitch. But I have never used either one. The pinch hitch is what I use all the time

Hey man! Thanks for replying. I saw your trunk full of stuff when you were cleaning it out video and I also noticed what appeared to be a custom made pintle hook to ball hitch adapter. How often have you had to use that? What about wiring up to different vehicles? I have the round 7 pin tractor to 4 way but that's it. Do you have a detailed wiring video in your collection that I missed? Thanks again for following up!

@@mwbaker289 Tier 1 has that pintlle adapter. My buddy and me made that one. I use it infrequently but it does come in handy when you have a dump truck or tractor that has a pintle hook on it. I have a video where I hard wired my lights on my tow car so now all I do is just plug them in at the front. I don't carry a lot of light adapters with me. I use a 5 to 4 way adapter wired into a 7 way semi plug on one end and a 4 way on the other end. For trucks that don't have a 7 pin semi plug, I made a 4' pigtail that has 4 way plug on one end and each wire on the other end has a posi tap connector so I can just tap into the lights on the truck

Does anyone know the tow weight these can handle? I have a 12000 lb trailer

I don't remember seeing a tow rating for these, but a lot of it would depend upon the hitch you use!

This is their Facebook page. You can scroll through their pictures and see what they have available. I'll be doing a review on their hitch in the next week or so. facebook.com/photo/?fbid=4743399979052643&set=pcb.4743384449054196

The company doesn't even respond to questions or comments. I wouldn't waste my money with them.
