I shot my first 900+ ( 4 games) and also my best single series 278 with NU. Its amazing. You can play it chill like a normal sym or go hook boss and lower the speed. Lane shine made it more calm, otherwise a small scuff with 2000 pad brings it back

question how do u feel about the blue nu ? in my op it seems to hock more and plays a more angles then the old purple / im thinking of buying my gf one for playing up 1st or 2nd arrow but idk if i want the nu or the old purple bc i want the og shape and for the ball to be able to stay in one spot for leauge night but idk how i feel about nu. any info ? thanks .

Hooking the whole lane is easier said than done. I've tried that and either came in high or hit the three pin. I felt his pain on that 9 pin in the 3rd frame. I left 7 of those in Monday's league.

Should used the 2.0 hybrid that thing strikes for me no matter where I throw it. In front of thr ball return no problem. Playing up 1 no problem

I've picked up the 5-7-10 with my daughter's 8 pound ball. i hooked it into the left side of the 5 and carried into the 7 while the 5 got kicked into the 10. The fun bit was the fact that i only used my middle finger in her thumb hole, palmed the ball and threw like i would normally throw my own. If i went pro, i would have an 8 pound pearl ball in my arsenal with 1 hole for my middle finger for the ridiculous spares.

Packy do you think lofting the ball hurts the lanes in anyway? Some bowling alley's get pissed when people loft the ball and it slams down on the lane.

8:09 So it looks to me like you need some pretty serious axis rotation in order to play this line. I watch the PBA and guys like Belmo, Simonsen, EJ Tackett,…they play this line constantly, especially in majors, and I just don’t understand how they can strike consistently on it at all. If it was me, I’d be lucky to get 8 spare.

I am 58 retired and just took up bowling by joining Church League. Due to physical limitations i seem to only bowl at a speed of about 8mph….. My average to start the league was 80. Now after 42 games I have it up to 98. I recently busted out highs of 147 and the next week 157. So I see progress but now as our League is on Mondays we are not bowling next two weeks due to Christmas and New Year’s. But how can I roll my ball faster? Merry Christmas!! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Generally for a traditional bowler, ball speed is determined by either your footwork speed or length of the backswing for a one hander. Physical limitations may prove a challenge, but if you experiment with your push away, you may find ways to let gravity do the work for you with your pendulum swing. Another thing that affects ball speed is the angle you let go of the ball. If it's smoothly being rolled like an airplane landing, it will retain much more energy (speed) than if it is being dropped or dumped into the lane.

The main ball that it happens with is my summit throwing it slower I get the same results. When I switch to the katana with more speed same thing. Im still some what new to bowling only started a year ago. Could you recommend any stronger balls then what I have?
